Great for responsible and mature 18 year olds who want a no monthy fees checking and savings account as well as a debit card. I was able to apply 100% online, got my student checking and primary share savings set up and received my debit card in the mail within a week. I am able to contact and talk with their staff via their website and get everything done that way.

Lots of my friends who went with Chase, etc. always complain about how banks suck due to monthly fees and fees for this and that, while the ONLY time I've EVER paid fees was when I accidentally ran my checking negative with paypal transactions, it's $30 for each transaction (ACH, etc) that runs your account negative, and $10 for each overdraft protection transfer from your savings if you have that set up, but these are just minuscule punishments for running your account negative which most people don't ever have to deal with, stuff happens sometimes but they are positive and helpful no matter what you're dealing with.

Overall no regrets at all with going with them, no BS or anything, just banking how it should be.

Has awful rates for a credit union. They have awful customer service. They consistently make finance charges to your credit card no matter if payed on time or payed off. Consistent calls trying to sell BS services. I recommended finding a better finance center that knows customers are whats most important. PEFCU IS AWFUL!!!!!
