Really nifty bar with an Asian twist to the menu. We were able to get right in on a busy Saturday evening by sitting at the bar. Parking is a bit of a challenge and the area is right on the edge of downtown so it’s a bit sketchy. It was busy enough that we felt safe. The staff were good. Prices are fair for the quality and amounts of food. The drink selection looked good, though I was boring and just got a beer. We split the pork belly bao and the k pop fries, and my buddy had a bun-burger due to dietary restrictions. Everything was great. A good bite of a fatty pork belly bao bun is my favorite possible bite of food, and this place delivered just that.
I’ve been wanting to go to brunch here for a while & it did not disappoint!! Make sure you get there right at 11 because the line can get long. Staff was great! We ordered a bottle of Champaign & orange juice for mimosas to share. We didn’t wait too long before our food came out & it was really good! Highly recommend the veeg’s burrito. I never find vegetarian breakfast burritos out & about so this was a lovely surprise. Breakfast potatoes were the best I’ve had in a very long time! Would 100% recommend & I can’t wait to go back!!
Nice place for a quick bite and good drinks. My party of 5 got in first because our friend showed up before opening to get in line. The line was very long out the door. They have an interesting fusion menu. I had a tasty Udon bowl and my friends ordered tacos and breakfast platters with the usual toast, potatoes, eggs, bacon and spam.
Awesome energy at this place! I sat at their outdoor patio which was perfect, it's enclosed with tons of plants all around. Their appetizers were amazing, I got the kpop fries and cheesy corn and would highly reccomend both of those! We got the patty melt for the main dish and it was good but not as mind blowing as the appetizers. I will say their Irish mules are some of the best I ever had. I will definitely be coming back
Love this place! Perfect spot for good food and drinks. Interesting cocktail options, I’m always trying something new : we got the curry fries, I love Japanese curry and this dish did not disappoint. If you are thrown off by the cheese- don’t be! Doesn’t interfere with the flavor at all!
I went there for dinner. This place stays open pretty late and has got some pretty cool vibes. They offer inside seating as well as a verandah which is decorated with festoon lights/cafe lights. The place looks cool, and the food is also on spot. We ordered Japanese style croquettes, Pork Belly Bao, Japanese Curry Rice with Chicken Katsu. And Purgatory Pimm's Cup and an old fashioned for cocktails. I would have given 5 starts, but for me the service did not match the vibe and food at this place. To start with, We were not provided any plates and silverware for quite some time. Then after asking for it, my server got us only 1 plate with 2 forks. Not sure what she was thinking.. I asked her again for a table knife and an extra plate because we were a party of 2. We had to wait again for some time, and had to ask again. After waiting for so long, I was almost done with my food.. I got 1 sharp meat knife instead of a table knife.. she totally ignored my partner again.. also, we didn’t order steak or any sort of meat that would require a meat knife. In addition, they didn’t even care to come to our table for water refill. They need to up their game on service. Unfortunately my overall experience was not up to the mark because of the service.. but I will still recommend this place for, music, vibe, and their awesome food.
I had very high expectations for this restaurant. My partner and I watched an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives where this restaurant was featured. Upon entering the restaurant, the host was extremely helpful and it did not take long to be seated. The restaurant is pretty small, so we got a two person table that was close to the other tables near us. The restaurant is pretty loud and it was hard to have a conversation, as you could hear the other tables near you because you are so close together. Our waiter didn’t seem to interested in actually waiting on us. However, he was very attentive to other tables around us. Our table seemed to be an after thought compared to other tables near us. We ordered drinks before the other two tables near us but those tables got their drinks before us. Our food came out at a decent time but seemed to be missing some ingredients on it that were listed on the menu. Our waiter never came to check on us but he did to other tables around us. My partner had to flag him down to get the check. Overall the food had good flavor but seemed very simple. We wanted to order items that were featured on the tv show but they were not included on the menu.
The staff is very friendly, and the vibes are generally welcoming. The menu looked delicious - I had a hard time choosing. Landed on the breaky bowl and I'm so glad I did. Pictures show what it looks like served and then mixed. Fried rice breakfast bowl? Say less!!!!
Cool atmosphere, fun drinks, and they finish it off with some great eats. The curry fries were a favorite and a great surprise!
Had only a day in SLC. This spot had AMAZING vibes, great food, nice patio. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a cool place to grab a drink and a meal in the city. Had a great espresso martini and an IPA made in house. Feels like there's something for everyone.
