Welcome to Purple Haze Nightclub, where all the party people are! A local favorite, we’re the best industry nightclub, eatery, and dance club in Memphis. Purple Haze Nightclub is 5,000 square feet of ultimate lighting and sound! You’ll find kickass DJs, great bands, mouthwatering eats, and a full-service bar. We chill during the week and the DJ s take over Thursday - Sunday, rockin’ everything from old school dance to today’s hottest remixes ‘til 5AM. Join us during Voodoo Hour from 9pm-10pm for $2 wells and 2-for-1 drafts. Our bar menu features everything from pizza and steak to quesadillas and burgers. Your racist views are unacceptable. Targeting one race of people for violence happening around your establishment was not only distasteful but also very eye opening. Let's not forget that violence is everywhere. Take a look at what this country was built on towards other race by one race. Also, let's fast forward to Valentine's Day 2018. People love to holler about black on black crime but when their are mass shootings, the suspect has special needs and people are quick to blame their actions on their hard lives. You're part of the problem as to why this screwed up country will always be divided. If only we were able to leave a rating of 0 stars.

Your Response From 1 year ago regarding a rape comment. My what a hypocrite to blame and condemn all blacks for the actions of 1 shooter. 

The actions of 1 Memphis Police officer does not reflect the exceptional work that the MPD does on a daily basis in this city. The police force in Memphis faces numerous challenges, and do so with a very high level of integrity. This incident had nothing to do with our nightclub, but if you want to condemn the entire entertainment district of Memphis, you have that right however misplaced and ignorant it will be to do so.

Thanks for blocking me on Facebook! All I did was spread your racist statement. Not really sure why I was blocked. 

Anyways. I wish I could post the pictures I screen shouted, however, feel free to head over to Yelp to see the pics. Purple Haze is a racist establishment who now refuses to play "hard core rap" because it supports "black on black crime" outside their club. I'm not exactly sure who's running their Facebook page, but I'm almost for certain it's someone close to the business owner or the business owner himself. Pretty shocking how in 2018 we still have ignorant, problematic, racist business establishments. They might as well have put No Coloreds Allowed on the front door. 

There was no need to block me Purple Haze! I'm going to spread the word to every news source possible. Good riddance!

Cannot support a racist establishment. Not only a poor choice of words but a poor outlook altogether. The fact that you decided to use the term "black on black crime" told me alot especially since that theory was debunked YEARS ago. Shame on you
