The Putnam House has always been a family favorite. The appetizers like the buffalo chicken tenders (now named something else) and the nachos are some of our favorites. They have two sides to the resteraunt: a pub/bar area and a fancier resteraunt side. The pub has lots of TVs and sports memorabilia on the walls while the fancy side has table cloths and candles. During nice weather, there is also an outdoor patio. The staff are friendly and check on us multiple times throughout our visit. The menu has a lot of great options. The only thing I'd recommend is parking across the street in the lot by the tracks. The lot up the hill is usually full.

This place has been a staple in bethel as long as I can remember, hell it was my first job. Danny has Ben doing it right for a damn long time.  Nice bat good star,  not to expensive and the food is definitely worth it. Lot of history in the building 2. Check them out.

Redneckery. Food ok. Wrench beer on tap  was a very good surprise. 100 for 4 ppl. Nice fri night altogether.

Good townie vibe. Funky Victorian house layout. 5 or six small rooms like the residence it once was. Service good, able to accommodate a vegan request from one guest, even though not on menu.
