Born and raised in Hampton Roads, we are a family-owned second generation pit-master barbecue joint, throwing down slow-smoked meaty morsels hot out of the Southern Pride:

Pulled Pork. Sliced Brisket. Smoked Ribs.

Our sides and desserts will make you wish your momma cooked this good. We are easy to find on the main drag heading into Downtown Smithfield

First visit was great. I was greeted promptly. When I said I needed a bit to look at the menu, the server asked if it was my first visit and would I like to try anything. So I tried the brisket and the pulled pork. Both were tender and good but I really liked the BBQ sauce on the pork so ordered a 'boat' = 1/2 lb of pulled pork. All items are a la carte so I opted for the regular coleslaw (although the seasonal pickled slaw looked really good too) and fries. Portions were generous and delicious. At the checkout they had bags of homemade pork skins so I got one for later. Definitely will come again.

Diabolically Delicious! Mmmmmm....the owner, Jesse, greeted us at the counter, apologized profusely for running out of a few mainstays, (shame on us for arriving so close to closing time!), but offered up the southern style brisket as an alternate choice. W.O.W.!! Deep fried brisket sandwich with slaw & pickles, fresh mango coleslaw side, and apple crisp with ice cream. All homemade with family recipes. Reason alone to visit beautiful Smithfield!

Staff was friendly, the brisket was tender, flavorful with just the right amount of smoke and fat. My Hubbie and son enjoyed their pulled pork. Fresh cut fries were amazing. The sides were delicious and the atmosphere was great. I would recommend this BBQ!!!

Great food! Loves the beef boat, baked beans, Mac and cheese and Apple crisp nothing I can say bad about their food. Also big portions too. My only complaint is the tables were not very big. 4 men sitting at a table with plates is a bit tight but everything else was great!

Family and I are staying in Surry and I googled what there was to eat in Smithfield and Q Daddy's was the closest. The service here is absolutely superb. They were just about to look up but ran to the door to let is in and happily accepted our order. That rarely ever happens anywhere! Comparable to the service, was that excellent, awesome, absolutely delicious food! The brisket was so succulent and the perfect cuts. Same with the tender BBQ ribs. We got broccoli salad(best we have ever had) baked beans and Cole slaw. I have never tasted coleslaw so crisp and fresh and the perfect recipe. We finished of with Banana pudding that was topped with a homemade molasses cookie. What a way to end the meal! So delicious!!! Can not give this place enough stars!!!! Please stop by this place for one of the best meals of your life!
