Alaskan here, just stopping by to say this was the most amazing food truck I’ve ever been to! They were at the concert my partner and I attended in Gruene Cottages and it was DELICIOUS. The Hush puppies were some of the best I’ve ever had, the Étouffée over catfish was amazing as well. The catfish was cooked to flaky perfection, hushpuppies had the best crisp. I definitely can tell they know what they’re doing!! The price versus portion was also great. We had leftovers and shared a meal if that gives you an idea. 10/10 recommend, thank you guys for being a part of our night and sharing some good eats with the world
Chicken and sausage gumbo: Consistency was like water. There was barely any sausage or chicken. It tasted like roux and cayenne pepper with barely any flavor. It also tasted like canned soup. Not a great experience. The rice that came with it was dry. Boudain: Lacked flavor and rice was undercooked. I couldn’t taste a thing. Etouffee fries: probably the better entree here but not by far. I liked the consistency of the etouffee more like a gravy which I kinda expected from the gumbo. There was enough flavor here, but I feel like something was missing.
Would’ve been a five star if the gumbo would have had any substance to it what so ever in the “pint” and more rice… In total I had two bites of sausage and probably to chunks worth of some thin shredded meat. So it should just be labeled as soup with rice. At 15$ I want my money back. That’s robbery. But was first time trying it probably won’t again tho gotta have quality control if the price of that is at 15$
Our neighbor had them set up for a garage sale we ordered some fish and shrimp. Some of the best food I've had in a long time. Thanks!
Best seafood & best people you could ask for! Most down to earth people you can find these days & you can taste their passion in the food.
Thank you so very much for catering our neighborhood get together.. the food is absolutely delicious….I wish I had taken pics before I ate it all up.
Amazing etouffe and gumbo! Prices weren't bad at all and the people that own it were super friendly. I definitely plan to go back and try more of their food.
Fantastic Cajun food. Best gumbo I’ve ever had! Mac & cheese was delicious!
Great food!!! Would like to have some Tabasco
It was the best thing that I ever had. My kids loved it so much that they keep asking me for more.
