This place is crazy busy! We got on the wait-list at 4PM around 40th in line and we got seated around 7PM. We tried to come here before and gave up waiting after 3 hours. Now that that is out of the way: the taste was great. I eat exclusively spicy hot pot and we got a 2 chili pepper spicy pot. It's always a gamble if the level 2 is weak or not, but here it felt like a good scale. We got the crispy pork stick that was really good, love the little bit of peppercorn in it. For the actual hotpot, we added the fresh cut short rib great quality!, one meter sliced beef, frozen tofu, napa cabbage, sliced lotus root, and fresh noodles. For two, that was plenty. They also have a self service sauce bar that has a few small items like cherry tomatoes, spicy bean curd strips, etc. as well as green bean soup, white fungus soup, and some mango puddingor puree. As long as you plan well and get on the wait-list earlier, I think it's worth a visit
We had a fantastic experience there. The hotpot is tasty, and the snacks are delicious. The smoothies are in sale, which the look is unique, too. However, it's really crowded for Friday & Saturday. We were told to wait for 5 minutes, but we ended up waiting for 30 minutes. The average price for each person is in high end range, expect for $50 per person.
Came here during lunch with a few friends and we all enjoyed the various options we ordered. Clean, good quality, tasty, great sauce bar, great dessert options. Recommend this place! Expected long waits during peak times!Food: 5/5
Best Hot Pot in Boston! Excellent customer service and ambiance. Very clean and well layout restaurant. The smoothest, tastiest broths and a huge selection of meat, tofu, seafood, veggies, that will make everyone happy. Also, a fantastic spread of authentic Chinese desserts and snacks! Limited parking, but plenty of street parking around the Allston area.
This the best hotpot in the Boston area. The pork belly hotpot tastes amazing, the spicy hotpot is also very good, and the recommended side dishes are the crispy pork and mochi, which are specialties that you can’t get anywhere else. The price of the ingredients is very affordable, and free snacks and side dishes are provided. It is a very good dining experience. The only problem is that there are a lot of people queuing up. It is recommended to go early. Otherwise, you will have to wait for more than two hours.
We planned for a Monday evening to beat the long queues we had heard of and used Yelp to get on the waitlist at 7:45 pm. Although there were already 7-8 parties ahead of us, the wait for our table was surprisingly short, barely 5 minutes. The place had a lavish, modern interior, offering amenities a step above regular hot pot spots, giving it a more contemporary vibe. Our server was really helpful, suggesting we start with the mild spice level instead of medium—a great call. The optional sauces and dips at $3 extra were totally worth it, accompanied by appetizers and desserts. I highly recommend going for it. The menu was extensive, and the choices were impressive. We might have gone overboard with the portion sizes due to the generous servings. We had to pack food back home. The chicken was incredibly tender, and we couldn't get enough of the fried tofu—it was our favorite. The fried pork roll appetizer was also pretty delicious. Overall can’t go wrong. Their drink menu, especially with bubble tea, milkshakes, and smoothies, was fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the lychee jelly drink. Overall, this spot has secured a place as one of my top Chinese hot pot joints. With an average cost of about $40 per person, including tip, it's worth every penny. One thing to note: The dessert and sauce bar closed before we could indulge, and we weren't forewarned about it. Something to keep in mind for next visits.
The place is newly opened. Get ready for a long wait. We had a yelp wait-list but still had to wait for a while after our promised time. We were seated at the first stable near the door. People were waiting right next to our table and blocking the walk path. Blocking the workers and us going to get sauce and dessert and snack bar. They need to ask people to wait outside or the waiting area on the other side. The soup was flavorful and u can taste the herbs in it. The meats came out fresh and nicely presented. The snack bar and desserts changes daily I heard from a friend. Oh the sauce are not free, the sauce is 3 dollars including the snacks and desserts. Warning, if one person in your group gets it everyone gets charged automatically. Overall the place is authentic as it can be. From the decors to the sauce bar and desserts. The drinks used to be in a tin but this time we were given regular plastics cups. Little disappointed. Everything was good, I wasn't blown away by anything. It's worth a visit.
Newly open hot pot place. Only meter parking in the street. The menu is slightly less items, no corn, no watercress, no kelp. The smoothies are just ok. To be honest there is not much service here. It’s taking them longer to have foods ready than any other hot pot place.Food: 3/5
As people visiting from Central NY this place was the epitome of great customer service! Our waitress Celine was amazing! So knowledgeable and friendly. We will be back!Food: 5/5
The experience is great, their beverages something you must try over all great, you definitely need to make a reservation, I had to wait almost 1 hour to be seated... That was annoying and then the service will makeyou feel like you're on a rush. Food is great! Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options.
