Story

The original Quaker Steak & Lube® was founded in 1974 in an abandoned gas station in Sharon, Pennsylvania as a “cook your own steak” restaurant. Still smokin’ hot after 40 years, “The Lube®” has been voted Best Wings USA and grown to over 60 locations. Anyone looking for hot wings, great food, lots of fun and a place to be with friends & family can get their fill at The Lube®.

Fantastic wings! I really like the atmosphere of the place and can't wait to take my friends there and have their lube tube. Very kid friendly. Service was good the last few times I've been there.

Interesting automotive theme, and they follow it even to the point of using a toolbox as the silverware storage area. A lot of interesting menu items. Our food was very  tasty and the service was good. It is a bit loud inside as TVs and conversational sounds echo in the dining room and they had a  kid's event going on where they could sound the horns and sirens on some emergency vehicles that were parked just outside.

This review is not based on 1 experience, but rather based on MANY times visiting this place over the course of almost 10 years.  Lets be honest, if you like fine dining or fancy food with weird frills, you will not like this place.  However, if you prefer a great burger, wings, and some fried apps with a cold beer, then you will love this place.  My husband and I sit at the bar every time we are in so we have never had to wait.  (I get annoyed when people complain about wait times when you show up to a popular place at 7pm with a large group).   Within moments of sitting down we are greeted and the bartender takes our drink order. As our beer is delivered our food orders are taken and immediately put in.  There is a burger on the menu that has hot sauce, cheese, bacon and mushrooms........I get that, but sub for grilled chicken instead of hamburger.  Its not on the menu, but they always accommodate for me. The wings are spot on with a huge variety of flavors and spices.   If you haven't been on classic car night you are missing out.   It can be quite busy on certain days/times so I would call ahead if you have a big group or do not like to wait.

Quick accurate service for big lunch groups
My office has had several going away lunches at QS&L and I've always been impressed with their servers' ability to deal with our groups (10-20 people). I've never seen them get an order wrong and they're fast with service and checks when we need to head out. The food at QS&L is slightly above average for a wings/bar kinda place.  They've updated their menu  since our last visit and they've expanded their salad menu which is great.  The decor is nice if you're a gear head. Best thing though is certainly the service. We'll be back again for sure.
