My wife and I stayed for one night on Saturday October 15, 2016 we were told that there was only one room left. When we entered the room the light switch by the door did not turn on any lights. We made our way into the room and found some lights to turn on. The light fixture by the computer desk was broken. The first thing we noticed was that there was a bottle cap of some sort on the floor under a broken down chair. In the middle of the night I got up to use the restroom and closed the door so I did not bother my wife, behind the door was a pair of men's underwear. The next morning I was going to plug in my computer and there was feces on the floor. The coffee pot leaked and the vent in the bathroom was hanging below the ceiling. There also were no knobs on the controls for heating and cooling. When we checked out I told the clerk and she said that there were three other similar complaints that morning, she asked if I would mind her writing down our issues and signing a paper she could leave for the manager. I did and left my phone number as well. There was no offer of refund at that time and no apology. The manager did call me two days later and offered a 10% discount. I told him a did not feel that I should pay for the room and that I was going to post a review. He said that he could go 50% and then asked if I was still going to post a review. I said that I was and I still feel that he should comp the room. He told me that if I was going to post a review anyway then he rescinds his offer of 50% off. I told him that the refund should not be conditional to whether a review is posted or not. He was just trying to shut me up. I did get my money back after an hour of being on the phone with choice hotels "Customer Service" but it was not easy. Do not rent a room from any choice motels but especially this one.

This is one of the most poorly managed motels I've stayed at. I have stayed at many Quality Inns. They all look the same in the picture, but this one was horrible in-person. It was filthy. Carpet wasn't vacuumed, the beds looked like they were just slept in, and I found a used kleenex next to my bed. Also, the knobs are removed from the air conditioner-heater, so you have minimal control of your comfort. Oh, and the front desk decided to call late at night to ask about my company credit card. Twice. I'm in town for a month for work, and this turd lost all that business. One night was enough. Check out Super 8. MUCH better.
