The hotel itself was fine and would rate a 5 star. However. I accidentally left an article of clothing behind. When we called to see about retrieving it, they said they had found it, described it to my husband, and said they would mail it to us. When we got home a week later and it hadn't arrived, we called again to check on it. The associate said she would check and have the manager call us when he got in. Never got a call back. I called again today, another week later, the associate checked with the manager and he claimed it was the wrong item (even though we had confirmed it was the right one), but he would call me back "within the hour". 5 hours later I still haven't heard back so I called again. The manager was not in. I explained that this is enough to keep me from staying there again. It's the principle. When you say you will do something, do it! Update: I finally did get through to the manager and got my clothing back today~after 3 weeks. Thank you.....

This is a great place to stay. When we go to Mt Airy on a getaway we always stay here. The staff are very friendly and will help you with anything you need. The rooms are nice and clean. So if you are planning to go to Mt Airy and looking for a place to stay, stop here and and stay.

The service was great but the room smelled musty and the beds were hard as a rock and had a hard time sleeping on them. The breakfast served was hot and good. The cleaning staff were courteous and pleasant. Same as the young man whom checked us in was sincere.

My wife and I was on our 1st Wedding Anniversary. Stayed in room 238 from this past friday until today. We both had a good time. With no problems. Enjoyed the king size bed, the hot breakfast with eggs and biscuits and gravy. Waffles. Yogurt. Nice place. I do feel like we got our money's worth.

Nice room overall. Electrical outlet next to sink needs replaced (plugs must be bent to make contact). Couch needs replaced (stained, holes). Room was clean and livable, staff was professional and friendly. Bed comfortable, bathroom recently updated. Good overall experience.
