Pretty nice hotel. Big spacious rooms. Rooms are very clean. Looks like new carpet throughout. The breakfast is so-so.

The staff was very friendly. Everything was clean. Our room had plenty of space. 

There were no smells at all. Usually hotels have musty or cleaning products smells, and some have cigarette or marijuana smells. This hotel had no smells. SO AWESOME!!!

I also appreciated the location and how we could just go across the road to access the Lake Michigan boardwalk. The only thing I would change would be to have better breakfast options, but at least there was something available. Also, the wifi sucks.

I was traveling for work and needed a place to stop for a conference call. The staff was very friendly and let me plug in my laptop and use their empty dining area for an hour. I wasn't even a guest. The hotel.looked very nice and I plan on staying when I am back up there for work.

If I could give it NO stars I would! We called ahead about a room, we were told they had a pool, and we could get a room with two double beds for $108. We arrived there less than 5 minutes after calling, and were told the computers rolled over to summer pricing within the couple of minutes, and the room was now $129. On top of this, we were informed there was only one hotel in the entire area that had a pool, and that is the Gray wolf lodge. We were treated poorly, but they did refund our money and we went down the street to the Gray wolf lodge, which has a very nice indoor pool, and hot tub, and we got a room with two queen beds for $86 dollars 👍

Don't recommend. They do take pets, but rooms are small, old, dated, moldy and have cracked and dirty tile in the bathroom. They also don't have handicapped rooms along with dog friendly rooms. Why not? Highway noise is loud throughout the night.
