Welcome to the Quaterdeck Restaurant's facebook page. We offer great American and seafood cuisine at reasonable prices in a relaxed atmosphere. When in season, our specialty is freshly steamed Maryland blue crabs - but we're open year round, with great steaks, burgers, pizza, and other seafood, including crab cakes and spiced shrimp.

I dined here for the first time and it was fantastic !  I lived in Baltimore for many years and have had some of the best crabs in the world.  The half dozen jumbos I got here are among the best I've ever had.  They were very heavy and perfectly steamed.  

It is a small place.  I went in the middle of the day on a weekday and had no problem getting a table, but I did notice reservation signs for just about every table for later that evening.  It's probably best to call ahead for a table.

Food is amazing here. Echoing the other reviews, the service is pretty slow - especially if you’re getting steamed crabs make sure you have at least 2hrs (the crabs take about 35 mins). I’d recommend going for lunch on a weekday if possible to avoid the rush.

Went here as a place near by ANC. The building in is right on a corner and can be easily missed if coming from one direction. There is outdoor seating as well as indoor. There is also a bar with stools and a couple small tables. The reason for the rating is two fold. The food was decent enough that I would have gave a four star and moved on with no review. My waiter was a nice gentleman but I think he was more concerned over tending the bar then little ol' me as the only eat in patron. No worries at all. The reason for the two stars was the extremely awkward moment when another waiter asked me to wait outside to find a table... While there was plenty of indoor ones. What made it more uncomfortable for me was the music that was playing. It was self curated and is the kind you listen to in your car or home, never in a business. People were arguing over songs and while I was trying to eat my meal Lil' Kim came on and began to talk about private parts.

Let's just say I have no plans on returning and do not suggest others bring their kids.

Normally,  the crabs here are incredible. But on Sunday Oct.22nd not so good. We reserved large, only to find out when we got there, the server said they sold all the large earlier in the day! Major bummer!

Great food but terrible wait times. This place had only one waitress for the entire place. Very long wait times for food and Bill. Drinks never refilled.  Even after we gave the credit card we had to go up to retrieve our card to leave.  Great clam chowder. Crab cakes were delicious as well as the crab dip appetizer.
