First time having vietnamese udon and I enjoyed it. Thick broth that reminds me of a tomato broth. The noodles are like thick vermicelli with a little more chew to it. Good portion size. They take credit card.Food: 5/5
Nice little restaurant: Food authenticity 4* Service 5* Cleanliness 4* Atmosphere 4*
This restaurant is not an elegant restaurant where you would want to take someone on your first date but, the Vietnamese traditional udon is delicious! The broth is thick, flavorful, and rich in depths. Situated at a corner of a small plaza, the parking can be a pain to find during the weekend and during Tet. If you like the Vietnamese tomato crab noodle bun rieu then I recommend you to try it at the restaurant as they only serve this over the weekend! They also serve fresh sugar cane drink as well. This is a cash only restaurant but, there is a BofA and Wells Fargo bank across the street if you need cash!
Food was awesome as always, the bill was $49 and they gave me back 50 and a 1 Awesome service and they weren't even expecting tips.
Here is a special noodle crab soup with the price is $24.5. I cannot believe it
CASH ONLY! Banh canh cua is a favorite dish of mines whenever it's cold out and this place hits the spot whenever I do crave it. There aren't many places I know of that make the broth as great as this. I have only ordered to-go so I can't comment on the service but I can say it only takes 5 minutes for them to prepare my order.
Bún riêu here was cooked with real crab, not crab from can as lot of Vietnamese restaurant in San José did. That mean taste so good and unique. Awesome!
Small but cozy, and good service. They're pretty pleasant and polite. Good clear noodle soup which is their specialty. We will come back.
Best authentic Banh canh around, 3+ years ago, but 2020 and beyond has been terrible. What happened?!?!
My favorite place for Vietnamese Udon, especially crab and lobster Udon. Good services, fair price but parking is quite hard
