1/29/2018 - I just emailed Manchester's Mayors Office under the heading of question, and avoid the downtown block of 'Pop' of Color and 'Queen City Cupcakes' and I was lawfully ordered by Badge #190 not patronize these merchants and so fear of arrest is a good thing and so I wish not to stumble into trouble somehow or other and please advise... How about a permit revocation? I live two blocks away and if the merchants have psychiatric issues with local residents why should I live in peril? FYI: Downtown is low-income fashion grammar... The family-owned merchant with high-confidence in speech and manner gave future faultless hope for the most-excellent speciality not brand name hostess cupcakes and so entered and spied and with duty cashier's full attention on myself with six or eight colorful selections and another patron entered and so I offered first-best and continued to ponder a cupcake without butter cream and duty staff member hinted at marshmallow butter cream and it must be fluffy and doubt questioned fluffiness and so requested color of fluffy cupcakes and purchased two different fluffy cupcakes and inquired the duty cashier's name and with hysteresis said, "John", and completed remittance and onto 'Pop of Color' and to be continued... One Star - Re-patronage definitely not Two Star - Re-patronage probably not and watch-out for capricious re-patronage... Three Star - A-OK Four Star - Fan Five Star - Always till now first-best with pending disappointment... Please be advised and I am waiting for hostess cupcakes and I wish not John to cashier and he seems to desire to cashier with me and it's weird... I patronize to satisfy my cupcake needs and not to support local business. I have notified the Mayor's Office under the heading of complaint. 1/24/2018 on or about 5:00PM: I have just been warned by Manchester Police Badge # 190 by phone not to patronize this merchant along with adjacent a couple of doors down Pop of Color 816 Elm St, Manchester, NH 03101. FYI: I pedestrian walk past and Badge# 190 indicates no problem, I hope... FYI: The two cupcakes and the cake was moist and weighty though the frosting was cloy and over-abundantly plenty and I prefer the adult-sweet veneer frosted hostess cupcake...

I love their cupcakes, but live a little ways from their location. So when I got the email this year for a birthday cupcake from them, I was excited to make the trip, especially since I didn’t go last year as I had just had my son. Unfortunately, the one I got ended up ON Granite St. I had completely forgotten that I put on my car while I was getting my son in the car. 😭 The woman behind the counter was extremely nice and understanding when I went back in to tell her what happened. She immediately offered me a new cupcake and I can’t tell you how happy I am that I finally have my cupcake. 😊

You think you've had cupcakes before, but there's NOTHING like these custom cupcakes! The flavors, decorations, it's all wonderful. It's important from time to time to treat yourself to the finer things in life and Queen City Cupcakes is one of those things.

no special colors or ability to do custom orders. ivr never had my requests or ideas shot down so quickly before. no willingness to try anything i wanted. zero creativity or talent in this place. a grocery store does more

This was the 3rd and probably final time that I will stop at Queen City Cupcakes. The cupcakes are decorated nicely and look yummy. But, at $8 and change for 2 cupcakes, (salted caramel and lemon raspberry) extremely pricey...they are on the small side, and there is no filling, and no special add ins, in the frosting. I went in on a Sunday morning 2 weeks ago and there was a gentleman there. Not particularly pleasant and rather brusque. Although there are a couple of tables, nothing about the place gave me an inviting vibe. I would rather spend that kind of money on a larger, cream filled cupcake at on of the many other options around NH.
