Let me begin by saying that the hotel is bearable. The reasons for my rating did not make my experience here terrible, rather they contributed towards a negative feeling towards my stay. First of all, the room was small, and the bathroom was barely big enough to be functional. With four people in my room, the one sink meant that getting up in the morning was slower than it needed to be, because we had to use it one at a time. The bathroom also came with a complementary marijuana smell, which took a long time to air out because there was no fan in there. Also, the room came with a breakfast, which was just fruit. When my roommates attempted to bring some bagels they brought into the lobby, hotel staff told us that we couldn't have outside food. We took our bagels, and went outside to eat them. Overall, I would probably not stay here again. There are several other hotels a short drive away that probably are better than this place.

This is a very nice hotel. The room was small but it was clean and had enough space for two people. The pool was perfect tempeture and the hot tube was very hot. The restaurant was great small and the food was delicious. The live music was entertaining and the staff was very pleasant. I would most defiantly return.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST HOTEL EVER!!!! It smells of mold and OLD. Although there was a 'No Smoking' sign on the door, it definitely was a smoking room and I was told they could not change me to another Paint peeling, wall paper water stained and coming off the walls The locks on the doors are old style electronic card, which I had to go down to the front desk no less than 23 times to have my key reprogrammed to get into my room and my daughters room, during my stay from arrival Saturday morning at 1am to Sunday morning at 11am. The only double security is the old fashioned chain locks. My daughter was supposed to have a suite for her family of 7, but instead got adjoining rooms, which may have been OK, but 3 of the 7 are 15 month old triplets. The ‘cribs’ are the old old metal cribs like you would see in pictures of orphanages, with no bumpers to prevent them from banging their heads on metal. Our rooms were supposed to be close together, but instead were on completely opposite ends of the hotel. I even requested the rooms to be near each other when I made the reservation, 1 month before the date and on the Thursday before everyone was supposed to be arriving. They said no problem. Their complimentary breakfast consists of only coffee. The only notice of when the restaurant in the building is open is a sign at the elevator, so if you miss the 2 hour window…you are out of luck. The National Paranormal Society says The Queensbury Hotel may be one of the best kept secrets in terms of haunted hotels in the Adirondacks.

Returned for a respite from the city and to enjoy winter in upstate. We were quite satisfied with our previous visit and would wondered how things came together following the renovations. The grand salon area is absolutely beautiful and inviting. The amenities remain the same and other than a glitch with our room keys this stay was just as nice as our previous one. Highly recommended hotel.

The hotel is located relatively close to the Northway and in the center of town near restaurants, banks and shopping. I didn't stay in a room. I was attending the Alzheimer's Expo working at the doTerra display. The service was excellent, they were very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious.
