I tried to wash with hot water, but that option was broken or there was no hot water because the washer just spun the dry clothes for 5 mins. I switched the option to cold and it started to wet the clothes finally.  And the other washer I had going with my blanket for my bed in it, had a black mark and hole in it from the washer and was soaked in parts and totally dry in parts as I took it out the dryer.
