I purchased a home here in February and I really enjoy living here. The only recommendation I have is to add a dog park since there are no fenced in yards. I think it would be a great addition to our little community and help people get to know eachother. Plus, the doggies would love meeting friends too!
I really love living here ! If you have more than 2 cars, just look elsewhere, it will save you time and money since rules are reinforced. I love the community, the park, the staff the association is great and the area is clean and lawn is manicured! Know your rules and any questions make sure you review your handbook. If you have a lot of things that you want to keep in your garage, or work out of it, not for you either, just an fyi.
I guess nothing has changed for years and people complaining about workers and Managment , very rude. They hire minor lifeguards who spend their time on smartphones. They don’t want to take complains and sign them explaining that only landlord can file. Disgusting personality of manager and very rude.
I have been living here for 5 years now. Quincy Park does a great job of keeping the community a pleasant place to live. The association fee is reasonable and they put that money to good use keeping the area clean and updated. Staff is friendly, the properties are nice and dogs are allowed. they also include a well-kept pool and community events like yard sales and town hall meetings.
As with every place you could live, Quincy Park has its pros and cons. I lived there for 20+ years, back when all the neighborhood kids stayed out and played together. There was a general sense of safety and community. The community pool has been maintained and updated. It's really nice, especially if you have kids, what better way to spend a day in the summer? Regarding the rules and regulations, they are simply there to keep order and maintain the community looking nice. However, parking is a hassle if you have more than two cars, as you will have to compete for street parking, and there really is no other option. Definitely don't test them on not following the rules, because they are quick to make sure you pay. But if you're the type of person who follows rules well, this is a nice place to live. Also, if you are looking for a lot of space, this is not the town house community for you. So before buying or renting, just be sure you are aware of exactly what you want, vs. what you will get at Quincy Park.
I have lived in this community for over 5 years and love it here. The condo association fees are reasonable and comparable to other associations in the area. The Landscaping crew does a wonderful job at keeping the neighborhood looking nice, and snow is quickly removed after any 2+” snowfall. The pool and pool house is clean and well maintained and the park is great for the kiddos. As with any multi-family community, any condo association will have rules to abide by as a resident. I find the rules here to be reasonable and easy to follow, ex: don’t park in other people’s driveway, don’t double park your cars in the driveway, don’t park in guest spots if you are a resident, throw your trash in the trash bin, etc. The rules are quite simple, and indicative of being a decent human being towards your neighbors and guests. If the rules aren’t followed, you will be fined, as you should be. All in all, this is a great and safe place to live.
I've lived here for almost 2 years renting and have nothing bad to say; they're respectful and helpful in the offices, my neighbors mind their own but are friendly nonetheless, and I've yet to have a bad experience with anyone in the community. A lot of people in these reviews are commenting about how rude the people in the office are, but I'm a strong believer in putting out good vibes to get them back in return; if you have a negative attitude don't expect to get smiles for miles from anybody you meet, at Quincy Park or elsewhere!
It's a owned community with nice small less maintenance type houses.. the landscaping is great. There is plenty of place for kids to play.. a nice walkway.. well maintained roads.. double parking with closed garage god bless them for saving us from winter work. It has a nice lawn just to enjoy, no maintenance work for us here too.. the community takes care of everything.. I just love my place here..
Quincy Park is a very clean, nicely kept community. I love the landscaping and how well everything is kept up. I am a new owner since April 2017 and other than a few communication issues with the management it has been a very good experience! My neighbors are very nice and the pool is sparkling clean! For those of you who are posting bad reviews, my suggestion is to just follow the rules and you will have no problem. I bought a condo here to avoid maintenance and live is a pleasant environment Quincy Park has fulfilled that need. If you are looking to purchase in Q.P. My suggestion to you is READ all the bylaws. Ask a million questions and follow the condo rule. You will have a very pleasant place to live. Maybe renting units should be discontinued??? That seems to be an issue with anyone not following the rules.
My parents have lived here for over 20 years. I bring my kids here, and over the past 15 years I have worked with my buyers and sellers that owned, rented or invested in Quincy Park. Seeing it from so many different perspectives, seeing people vent about too many rules with 1 star reviews, here is how I see the math: You have a community of over 450 units x how ever many people that live there. There is little to no crime. The homes and streets are clean, and so is the pool and park area. QP has replaced most of the roofs and siding, and you would not be able to tell that these homes are 40 years old. The improvements had been done with no special assessments charged to the owners, and $200 - $205/month is lower than most other associations. By the way, property values have nearly doubled in the past 5 years. I would say the rules are doing a lot of good. Its a nice place to live.
