This is "old school diner" excellence. Be sure to bring an enormous appetite because the portions-to-price ratio is epic. My coworker called my Riches Omelet that I'd ordered for brunch "mythic" in size. This place has been a staple for my family for years. Ain't the fanciest joint but if you want great food served in portions that you have to see to believe (no lie...order the pancakes the size of plates), this is the place. I live out of state but every visit back to MN this is on the must-stop list.

I found this place by accident. Glad I found it. It has the down home feeling. Everyone is super nice and down to earth. Food tasted excellent and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I will come back again.

Cons
Slow wait staff. The restaurant is long overdue for a remodeling. Some items on the menu such as the biscuits and gravy are prepared very lazily; the gravy tastes like it came from a can.
Pros
 Very generous portions for a fair price. If you order a more common entree you can expect it to taste like home cooking

The food is outstanding .  You get far more food then the cost to eat here.  The cost to eat here very reasonable .  sure wait staff are  slow but That's because always so busy  food comes fast thow and its always hot and fresh. Who cares if place is old . It us clean and good us outstanding and hot and comes fast when place is packed.

The portions are absolutely MASSIVE. If you think you need 3 pancakes because 1 isn't enough, you need to check yourself because these are actually the size of a pan. I personally recommend the gyros because it's a massive pile of meat.
