One service person spoke to me in a manner as if I was born yesterday.  Then he performed some unnecessary service that I did not ask for, didn't not ask for my permission, and charged me for the service. Specifically, he changed an old meter to another old meter, (and I believe my old meter was in better condition then the one replaced! Then he charged me more for a used one then what I would pay for a new one! Also the meter was not even an issue and had nothing to do with an issue!   Watch out, you might get taken advantage of if you get judged in a certain way!

We needed shut-off valves changed, the drain pipes for a bathroom sink moved and a faucet installed. Reasonable price - less than half of Ben Franklin.  Work was done on time, repairs were explained as they were done - and there was more than originally thought.  People were pleasant. Area was cleaned up before plumber left.  I was told to call right away if there were any problems and they would come right back.  Don't anticipate any.  Would recommend R&R Plumbing to everyone and will call them if we need another project done. Staying local was a good choice.

My water heater finally quit after 25 yrs. Originally installed by R and R plumbing in Manchester. So I gave them a call. They remembered the job and gave me a great price on a new water heater. Installed in a basement corner with direct venting. Job was clean and all was removed and cleaned. Worth calling this company. Great job and water heater is excellent.

We have lived in Manchester for over 40 years. When we added to our home we had R&R upgrade our gas furnace, that went just fine in 1982.  I am pretty handy with home repairs, but when a leaky valve occurred in our (remodeled by me 30 years ago) laundry room and I just had carpal tunnel surgery, I stopped by R&R and they gave me an estimate of about $125.  That was just about at my upward limit, but I decided to let them do the work.

The next morning an elderly but polite worker showed up and I showed him to the laundry room.  I helped him bleed the water from the pipes so he could sweat on the new valve(s) but he failed to get a water tight joint(s).  So we drained the pipes again so he could re-do the work and on the second try he succeeded.  When he was finished he went out to his truck and came back with a bill for $323.xx dollars.  I clenched my teeth and gave him a check.

Later in the day I stopped by their store, and pretty much said 'what the hell happened?'  Rich (Ron?) responded that the job was more complicated than a normal job.  I said why didn't your employee tell me that before starting?  If I knew what the final bill would be I would have done it myself.  I have all the tools etc.  I was expecting them to say 'okay, we told you 1 thing and we messed up, here's $xxx sorry about the screwup' but he just went on to defend their mistake.  They should have told the worker that I was quoted a figure and to raise a red flag if there were going to be variations.

Sorry guys, we're done.
