These guys are so honest.  After dealing with three other repair shops in Rocklin - they are the BEST!! I would only go here for repairs!

Been going to R&S for years.  In-laws have been going there for years.  They've never let us down.  People complaining about repair costs should know these guys are realistic.  But their repairs last.  They charge a fair price for labor so it can be expensive if its a tough job, but on the flip side they won't gauge you for easy stuff like AC service and oil changes.

After getting a quote for very expensive repairs on my car from both R&S and the dealership, I chose to get that major repair work done at the dealer as the quotes were identical. The dealer, of course, found additional repairs that needed to be done. I chose to have R&S do those repairs (totaling roughly $1,000+) because I appreciated their timely response to quoting me on the previous work. I am new to the area and have no previous dealings with R&S which is why I chose the dealer for the more major repair work? Who would not do the same thing? For the same price would you have a specialist who specializes in working on your specific car or the neighborhood guy who repairs a little bit of everything that's on the road? Ron was offended that I had the dealer do the other work and refused my additional $1,000+ in repairs. I understand, to a small degree, where R&S is coming from... but I am not a millionaire, nor am I a mechanic. I brought business to him but he refused it because he is emotional. I was very disappointed with how I was treated. On the flip side, R&S came highly recommended from people I trust. I am sure they do fantastic work at honest prices. BUT, they will never have my business nor can I recommend them to anybody, due to the behavior I have described here.

I had been calling around town trying to find a shop to get my serpintine belt changed on my Jeep. Everyone wanted to charge me well over a hundred dollars! I called R&S, and they told me it could be done in a half hour and it would only cost a fraction of the cost that other repair shops were trying to charge. I highly recommend R&S.
