Quaint little spot with humble dining room, but do not underestimate the food here. Food comes out hot, filling and packed with flavor! First time here did not disappoint! I had the Chicken Tikka Marsala Kebab and it was incredible!
The place is very accessible and has ample parking. the menu has a wide variety to choose from and they are reasonably priced. Chicken 65 is one of the favorite. It's one of the best restaurants to have south Indian food. The food was super delicious, specifically - Chicken Korma, Lamb Biriyani, Apollo Fish, and Chicken Dum Biriyani. The staff was amicable and supportive. Excellent served food, and inside the restaurant was clean as well. They value customers' needs.
I'm very strict about food. Cause food is life. This place I ordered the food from holiday inn, Tampa FL. Order arrived with no cutlery & Napkins, then I called person he answered they do not provide cutlery & napkins. Especially In USA nobody take these things with them when travel with in state or out of state. Paneer pieces were big u can make four pieces of it. Onion kulcha was not look fresh, cold & hard.
From the person who usually doesn't leave reviews - Raaga once used to be a go to restaurant for us. Good quality, tastes quite close to the food back home in Hyderabad, a very good version of dum biryani. Since a few months the quality had been slowly declining. And today was the straw that broke the camel's back. Posting this before the embers in mouth cool downquite literally. Now I have noticed a distinction between chefs here and back home. In India, at least in Hyderabad if you order a dish spicy that means all of spices are increased a notch in the dish. But here they just dump red chilly powder. Whenever we order food at Raaga the spice level isn't close to match food back home. So we usually play around with spice levels to get it just right. We have ordered a chicken 65 biryani today with spice level "Very spicy". Because their spicy version is a bit mild to our palates. What we received is a "chicken with chilli powder infused paste biryani". Chef of Raaga, if we can really call you that, why not make something edible when people ask you for more spicy food? So much chilli powder was dumped into the dish that it tasted so bitter, it will give karela a run for its money. The rice didn't feel fresh, it didn't even feel warm after a 10 minute drive back to home. But they did oblige with my request to keep chicken tender. Why did I have to make that request in the first place though? I will leave that to reasoning capabilities of whoever is reading this. And cherry on top is that we have ordered extra raita which was chargedthey agreed to refund the $1 charged for raita but it was never put in our bag. So sad to see the potential go to waste.
Great food! Best place to have Indian food. Their Chicken Tikka Kabob and Chicken Dum Biriyani are so gooood!!!! Top priority service. I would definitely suggest my friends to visit here!
Recently did dine-in lunch, ambience is kind of OK, food was fresh and hot.. Gobhi manchurian was good, meethi matar malai taste was little weird, naan was thick, malai kofta and paneer butter masala was good .. Hakka noodles were yummy , try out spicier version.. rava dosa was Ok, paneer dosa was amazing ..price is reasonable for that area..
I like the place a lot. Clean, Indian vibes. The food is great too! But the only problem is the delay. The food comes really fresh, but too late. I guess that's because of less people working for massive customers. I guess a few more employees will boost the service. Anyways, I am pleased with the service, late but good. My recommendation rating will be 7/10.
The food was excellent—very flavorful and good variety. I wish the menu had descriptions of the dishes rather than just the names. I had to stick with the butter chicken, which I recognized, rather than trying something else I may have enjoyed more. The naan is fantastic. I tried the chili garlic naan. The service was a little slow, but tolerable. The staff was extremely friendly and patient with our lack of knowledge about Indian dishes.
This used to be our favorite restaurant but the quality and the service has dramatically deteriorated. Take a look at the Raaga special Paneer biryani. It appears like left over Paneer gravy was mixed with white rice. Horrible!
