Not much to look at but Rachel's delivers in the taste department. My salad was HUGE. I ate it 3 different times, and it was very budget friendly. My friend ordered all dummies in her wing order, and she received mixed, so she wasn't too happy with that but she said they were delicious. Would definitely stop by again.
Looked at the menu and within 5 minutes the line was out the door. We ended with a pound and a half of boneless wings and mozzarella sticks for $28, for the price, the service and the location I think it’s a pretty good deal. Everyone was so friendly and was super quick. Will be going back.
Excellent boneless wings with hot and fresh fries!!! Service was on point and very friendly staff! They were very busy, but that didn’t slow them down a bit! My order to-go was wrapped in foil and then placed in to-go box, so the food stayed nice and hot for the ride home. The boneless wings were hot and juicy! I’m so glad I found this place and will visit as often as possible! It’s just off 1 Block off of the main hwy 92 that runs around Deland Florida!
Ok after all of the positive reviews we decided to order takeout here. What a mistake that was. The order was almost $40 without tip. Had I tasted it before I walked out the door I would have asked for my money back. You get one shot to impress and you don’t do that with food like this. Wings were so dry I could barely chew the one I actually got down. And the onion rings let’s just say I could taste everything that was cooked in the same oil as the onion rings. Old oil taste. Not my favorite... maybe it was an off day but I’m not impressed.
This place is a hidden gem for sure. Not the place you'll drive passed and be like I'll stop there. But after one visit you'll learn not to judge a book by its cover. Good wings and hot fries. Wings were well sauced too and the people were sweet as pie. Im not a local there, so I wouldn't necessarily drive an hour and half to go there, but if you are in the area, drop on in. You won't be disappointed.
We ordered the twenty wings and friend dill pickle chips. My goodness! What a lot of food was delivered to our table! The garlic parmesan wings were savory, crunchy and oh so buttery. My brother loved the terriaki wings and the pickle chips were perfectly salty, sour and savory. If I add to give a negative, it would be how crowded the whole place was. Huge to go orders were leaving non-stop as well as quick turnover tables of very satisfied customers. Definitely a special stop to visit again. Rachel's wing shack is off the chain!
This is my 5th time here. I got so excited for the outdoor eating we made the trip from Jacksonville Florida and our Son/his wife from Kingsland Ga to try the wings for the first time. The staff from Rachel the owner all the way around are the sweetest, hard working and professional people you can ever meet at a Resturant. I call them friends bc we Love the food, people and place. Kudos yall are rocking this Covid 19 mess too.
We absolutely love it here! The food is so good and the service is wonderful! We really liked the garlic parmesan wings, parmesan fries and the Philly brisket was to die for! Definitely recommend giving this place a try! We will be returning.
When I first went to this place we ordered fried pickles the whole container was filled. Now everytime I order there is less and less and always something wrong with our order. I paid $9 for this and extra $1each for ranch. They always... always forget my extra sauces. I called as soon as I recived my order because I was so disappointed. Long story they blames the delivery driver for not having my extra sauces they told me to hold on about the rest of the issues and they just hung up on me. Will not be ordering again.
First experience even though we've lived here almost 2 years! Heard all great things so...as foodies, had to try. We have eaten wings practically all over the Southeast. These are definitely top 5, probably #2! Hubby's are my favorite Rachel, keep up the great work. We will be back.
