This was a pretty fun experience. I had never done anything like this before so I had no idea what to expect. If you want a lot of hands-on, then this isn't for you. The professional did 95% of the work, but it was great being right next to him as he made my glass bowl. Really nice folks though. I did have a really good time. However, my bowl did not turn out very good. The glass was super thin and chipped very easily. This was a good one time experience, but I would probably not go back.

I'll be honest that I was on the fence a little, based on prior reviews, but when my boyfriend and I visited yesterday evening we were delightfully surprised. Due to unforeseen technical issues our appointment was pushed back a 1/2hr but the receptionist kindly gave me a call hours prior to inform me. No big deal as it gave us time to explore The Living Computer Museum nearby. The entrance is flanked by two signs (at the corner & next to their entrance) and the other "students" were a dead give away, just enter through the "classroom". We arrived 15 mins prior (as suggested) & were checked in after a group of 4 and waited roughly an hour til it was our turn; we were behind a group of 4 or 5 people + a couple in mid instruction. This may bother some people but their website does say each piece takes roughly 30mins so in our case the wait was justified. It was neat to see what others were doing though cause it gave you immediate knowledge of what to expect. Ty was our instructor and awesome during our Blow Your Own Glass for 2 , Tier 2 experience. For the cost of the BYOG for 2 Tier II class we were EACH given a choice of pieces to make from Tier 1 & Tier 2, 2 colors for each piece (extra colors are $15/ea) and pattern (swirl or speckled). We chose a bowl and heart to make. Ty made us feel comfortable and explained everything in terms we could understand. He was also kind enough to snap pictures for us without us asking. Thanks Ty! IMPORTANT: These classes are introductory so DO NOT expect to do everything on your own. --- I know some reviewers were less than pleased with that but the way I see it if you're NEW to something as dangerous (cause hot glass is dangerous) as glass blowing it wouldn't be wise on their part to have you do everything on your own. They have hour to 4hr one-on-one classes for that. --- Instructors will give you a run down as to how to hold the equipment, what to do and how to do it all while giving you a chance to do so with them and on your own a bit. Just don't expect to form and cut glass on your own. Last but not least, thanks again to the friendly staff! We look forward to picking up our pieces later this week. This is something we will definitely do again in the future.

I took my girlfriend there for her birthday. We had an amazing experience. It was a great introductory lesson. We walked in unsure of where to go. We asked and they pointed us to the back right away. The lady behind the counter was nice and professional. The instructor we had was very kind, fun, and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of our questions about the process of glass blowing and the materials used. He truely seemed to enjoy his work and was happy to share what he knew. I will definitely be going back and bringing more people. Happy to support a great local buisness such as this.

DON'T GO HERE. Terrible experience. We waited for almost a half hour at the door before someone told us we were waiting in the wrong area. The staff were bickering and fighting about tools and equipment the whole time. My husband was supposed to be making a poppy, but the glass blower bent the stem so it ended up looking like a bong. I've tried multiple times to contact the studio and they won't return any of my emails. Worst experience I've ever had with a company. I basically just threw all my money out the window. Worst, worst company to deal with. DON'T GO HERE if you value your money.
