We were so happy to stumble upon this wonderful place. They had a huge selection of bagel toppings and some pastries if you were craving something sweet. Pair it off with a hot or iced coffee and you have yourself a delicious breakfast. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of their menu and was able to offer suggestions. Being from St. Louis, we appreciated it! Highly recommended! Skip the Starbucks and check them out! You won't be disappointed.
What a great little spot! The breakfast bagel sandwich was phenomenal and the service was super friendly and charismatic. A plain bagel by itself is incredible but there’s a lot of choices for how you want to customize your bagel. Everything tasted amazing! We don’t live near this place but we’d definitely drive the distance to visit again. Thanks!!
WHAAAT SO GOOD! Fresh and wonderful. We got the Health Nut Salad and Open Face Lox Bagel for me and my sister to share. It was plenty for two people to split for a light, bright, healthy and energizing lunch. Spent about $20 before tip Really grateful to have a place that serves such great food that's not $30 per plate. This place is such a blessing and their "energy" made me feel really at ease. 10/10 recommend
This was our first time at Rainy City. The owners were so friendly and helped us decide on some delicious breakfast bagels. I got The Rock on an egg bagel and he got the Egg Benny. They were very filling and reasonably priced. So delicious! The hollandaise on the Benny was creamy and had great flavor. I’ve never had an egg bagel before and it was so soft, I loved it. We will definitely be back to try more from their huge menu.
Never really cared for bagels until today. Had the Rock breakfast bagel on jalapeño with garlic cream cheese and it was so good! Fiancés blended coffee was perfect too! Not to sweet but super flavorful! Can’t believe we haven’t been here yet, We’ll definitely be back!
I work graveyards and popped in on a whim at about 8:38am. I was overwhelmed at the menu, but each item I was interested in was fully explained, the while while fresh bagels were being brought out! They get their dough from New York! I opted for a breakfast one, everything bagel with peperjack and roasted garlic cream cheese... this is honestly the most heavenly thing, and will be coming by more often!!! I also got a fresh pressed juice, and it was phenominal. You can't go wrong, no matter what you fancy!
Visiting local family from out of town. Came in yesterday to try a sandwich. So delicious and the owners and staff were so friendly and cared so much about our experience. BEST BAGELS. The vegan spread is wonderful and the French toast bagel w/ cinnamon butter was heavenly. Had to stop in to grab a bag to go on our early drive home the very next day. Vegetarian options: The vegan spread was so good and there are a ton of fresh veggie options for the veggie bagel. Delish!
We were on the hunt for a good bagel shop on our way to Seattle and found this perfect spot right off of I-5 in Centralia. We hit the jackpot! I can’t believe we haven’t stopped here before, but we will definitely be coming again! It’s just a quick stop right off the freeway and easy to get right back on. The owners were friendly and very helpful and make some amazing food! We tried The Rock breakfast bagel and the TBLT turkey blt. There are SO many different types of bagels, spreads and toppings to choose from. The espresso is great too! So much more variety other than bagels. They have soups, salads, yogurt parfaits, and many other baked items. We will definitely be back!
I'm so stoked to have a bagel shop in town. I've lived in the area for over 10 years now, and now that I know there is a fantastic bagel shop right in town, I will be a regular. I got a fantastic open face bagel with lox, a schmear, and all the trimmings. Also got a dozen bagels to go and the cinnamon raisin bagels came straight out of the oven. They were brought out with hot pads. One of them didn't make it home. 100 stars!
We had a great first experience at RCB but the last two times have been so disappointing that we won’t be back. The second time we went, the bagel was a bright yellow color and the $4 Mac and cheese was a small serving that tasted like Stouffers. We decided to try again & stopped in on Saturday morning for breakfast around 11. We ordered two OG breakfast sandwiches on plain bagels with an additional plain bagel with cream cheese. None of the bagels were fully toasted, and the breakfast sandwiches were inedible even after we heated them up. Neither had cheese, and the eggs and bacon were dry. The plain bagel did not have cream cheese on it, but a thick smear of butter and we had to throw it away. We were disappointed after spending $20 on a breakfast - which is a lot of money to throw away these days. The service was lackluster - there were only a few people in the shop, and it took several minutes to acknowledge me. I stood at the pay counter while they made our food and saw the person making drinks was struggling. When she asked a coworker for help, she was told no & I felt bad as she clearly needed more training or help behind bar and the other customer was clearly upset about her smoothie. When they brought my bagels over, I had to tell them I hadn’t paid yet, and they finally rang me out. As a small business owner i won’t give a 1 star review to a small business in our community. I’m giving 3 stars because while we won’t be back again, I truly hope and believe that they can turn their service and quality around and continue to have success!
