Sucks to a customer right now, after waiting in the one lane open only to be told the machines are down for credit and debit cards. And absolutely no sympathy for the 6 or so in the line. Just got a shrug from the lady.. Nice. Might need to give employees a little training for when the boss isn't there.  I really like this place too.

This is my all-time favorite Ralph's location because of it's variety, quality, & quantity. This location has more Manager's Special items on a regular basis than I've ever seen at any other location. There is also a Gourmet Cheese Section w/ experts working behind it's counter all day long. This location also features a Starbucks, a full-service deli, sushi bar, soup/salad bar, meat/seafood counter, & bakery. SO convenient! The store is larger in size, & although there are many other stores in this same plaza, the parking lot is not that bad at all (especially considering all of the traffic from other stores!)

I have been going to Laguna Niguel Ralph's for over two years now and never have had a problem until today. Victoria, the general manager of Ralph's in Laguna Niguel, approached me and my wife while we were browsing the wine section. Without even saying “hello” or asking if we needed help, rudely requested to see my wife's ID, who is 24. I proceeded to question this odd request due to the fact we did not have alcohol in our cart nor were we at check out, we were merely browsing the wine section. Victoria went on calling me “rude” for questioning her request, and told us that she has the right to request ID for being in the alcohol section. (I researched the ABC act after getting home and found out that her statement was false, even if someone is under 21 they are still legally allowed to walk around the store freely, this includes the alcohol section.) At this point she was yelling at us and threatening to kick us out of the store if we did not comply. Both me and my wife were very uncomfortable at this point and my wife showed her identification to defuse the situation. Being threatened and treated so poorly by an employee was very disappointing, especially since she is the store manager. After this event we will defiantly not be shopping at this Ralph’s again.
