Excellent location with awesome views, beaches and decks. This is a very unique Ramada with an indoor pool and hot tub, restaurant and bar and much more. Rooms facing the ocean have excellent views with a balcony and chairs to enjoy the sunrise with a morning cup of coffee. There are numerous decks between the rear of the hotel and the sand dune. Steps go down from the deck above the dunes right to the beach. I'm disabled and use a wheelchair and scooter to get around. The hotel is completely accessible to the handicapped with the only limitation being beach access. However, I can sit in my wheelchair and enjoy the ocean view from the deck atop the sand dune. You can walk, ride a bicycle, scooter or wheelchair to many locations for a meal in the restaurant, takeout or just an icecream. The hotel is pet friendly and has a safe area to walk your pets.

After arriving to the "Ramada Inn", I was impressed and satisfied with the staff and environment right away. The Inn was very beautiful and well kept in order and clean. The staff members were quite polite and greeted my boyfriend, my mother-in-law and I with nothing but smiles and kindness. They made me feel right at home and welcome. However, on our first night there my boyfriend and I had a negative interaction with one of the night shift staff members whom I believe was a manager who's name first name was Chad. While my boyfriend and I were asked to leave the pool because it was time for it to be closed up, this man seemed to be quite hostile towards my boyfriend. My boyfriend had asked Chad about a lighting situation on our balcony and chads response was very impolite and with an attitude in the tone of his voice answered by saying, "open your room door and you'll have lighting on your balcony" he also stated that if my boyfriend had anything smart to say about his response then he would kick us out the Inn. Now, to me this was not an appropriate way to respond to my boyfriend question and we both were pretty upset and unsure of why this "manager" was so impolite toward us. Overall, the experience here at the beautiful Ramada Inn was wonderful and I would definitely recommend this In to my friends. I was very satisfied with the overall experience with the staff and the environment 😊

Just to let you know my daughter Jenny and granddaughter Destiny joined me on a once in a lifetime vacation to your wonderful hotel 7-18/7-21  upon arrival the check in was flawless.  Bobby helped us to our ocean front room #330 which was spotless, plenty of towels and the beds were extremely comfortable!! I needed some extra pillows so within minutes I had them, he was also very helpful telling us about some points of interest.  I had one small incident regarding our first visit to your restaurant which was quickly taken care of upon checkout.  if I ever hear about anyone I know coming to the outer banks, your hotel will be strongly recommended. Robert/bartender was excellent, and the young gentleman that handled the chairs and umbrellas was a doll and a pleasure to work with. Thanks again for all your hospitality!

Very nice hotel in a great location. We stayed one night, and the staff was great - very helpful with a couple of specific requests. The restaurant in the hotel (Peppercorns) is unexpectedly great - the seafood and pasta dishes were both very good. There is also a pool and direct access to a hotel boardwalk which will take you straight out to the beach. As an aside, this hotel is also very close to the Kill Devil Grill, which is very good.

We are in town for a wedding and due to hurricane/ tropical storm Maria, we were not able to access our beach house.  It was only for a night & we have our 3.8lb chihuahua (also crate trained & very quiet dog).  Every other hotel I contacted would not except Lola (our chi chi). THANK GOD FOR THE RAMADA and their extremely helpful/ accommodating staff.  I didn't get the girls name on the phone, wishing I had because she was so helpful & instantly got us set up with something that didn't break our bank & met all of our needs.  When we got there, maybe 1hr after contacting them, they already had our rooms ready for us & the manager on duty, I wanna say her name was Terri? ( she was blonde) was more than helpful with all of our questions.  We were all stressing about figuring something out for the night & the ramada literally was our rescue.  So thank you a million times over!  Another side note is that the bartender Robert was amazing, along with breakfast the following morning not disappointing us either.  Everything was clean & we couldn't have asked for more.
