Stayed for a week traveling with work. My room microwave didnt work but the front desk was nice enough to let me use theirs every night. Giovanni went above and beyond when i forgot my corkscrew!! Clean rooms. Elevator was a little sketchy. Decent breakfast in the morning. Hate that the parking lot was across the street. But over all a great experience!

Nice enough on the inside, though the keys stopped working and we got locked out of the room. Kinda a rough area of town too. Don't expect much of a view here. Also the parking lot is very tough to maneuver into of you have anything other than the smallest of cars.

Needs updating. Only place to stay in Pottsville. Parking is across the street. Front desk person was taking a smoke break (saw her through the side glass doors as we waited for her to come back in to check us in. Carpets are worn and coming apart. Elevator needed a part so it only went to the 3rd floor. We were on the 4th floor. Only saw rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors of the door story hotel. Stairwell smells musty. Room keys intermittently worked. Had to flush the toilet more than 3 times (each time it was used) because pressure was to low. TV remote in sitting room was dead. Light on table in sitting room didn't work. Found a spicy frozen burritto in the freezer (drunk food, I guess). Breakfast looked unappealing and you couldn't use the toaster and microwave at the same time in the English Tea Room. Left a note for the cleaning person about the remote, light and toilet as well as informed and left a note with the front desk person. If I could have left and found someplace else to stay I would have.

First when we checked in, the first room they had for us was dirty and garbage everywhere! Then they gave us a second room and the beds were made but the floors were not vacuumed and the toilet was dirty on the outside with feces and hair! Third room again the floors were dirty but the bathroom were clean. The beds were made but when you pulled the sheets off the beds hair was on it! The manager Heather Hepler was useless. She kept hiding in her office and refused to come out to deal with the situation! I give great credit to Courtney and Brenda who kept apologizing and tried to fix it. Courtney took a vacuum and did the third room for us! The housekeepers would not clean our rooms everyday. I had 9 rooms and we stayed here for 5 days. 3 out of 5 days are rooms were not cleaned! We had to go to Wal-Mart and buy cleaning supplies! Again the complaints to Heather went on deaf hears! I asked to speak to her directly. I asked her to take a walk with me and show her how dirty her hotel is starting from the lobby to the elevators and floors. Also why were not out rooms cleaned when we were out from 9am to close to 3:30pm! She refused to come with me and she stood there and said nothing! No apology! Nothing! Filed a complaint with corporate. I hope they contact all the guest who stayed there this week and they will see that they have an incompetent Manager along with their sales Managers who stopped caring about this place! From the entrance, cigarette butts all over the ground, to the front desk rug that says Ramada is filthy. Walk inside the elevators you will see garbage inside the light fixtures and if it is a good day you also have sticky coffee on the floor. The hallways are dirty. Why are they not vacuumed every morning is besides me! And when you go to your room you can smell the carpet! The sheets and comforters are stained! I know that for next year when we book again for our friends and family, we will never book with the Ramada inn. Wyndum does not care for this place. If they did, they would have read all the reviews that people left and they would have either retrained their Managers Heather and Tammy or fired them for being incompetent! Heather has been here for 20 years for what the staff have told me. She does not care about her guest experience at her hotel! Neither does the corporate office because they continue to allow this to happen! We tried to find another hotel to go to in the area but they did not have 9 rooms available for the full amount of days! I just want to thank Brenda! Courtney and Stacey! These are the front desk workers who really went out of the way to fix things but they could only do so much. My suggestion would be hire Brenda for the Manager of the hotel, Courtney as the assistant! Stacey in charge of housekeeping because she would check The rooms before the housekeepers would leave to make sure they were done! Horrible !
