Discharged after 27 years for “rescheduling too many times”. Dr. Burchell had me on a prescription with severe withdrawal symptoms if not properly weaned off of them. His receptionist let me schedule an appointment in which I was set to speak to the doctor about the symptoms and a possible refill. I waited a week suffering from these withdrawals only to find out two days before the appointment I was being discharged and the appointment was canceled. They then tried to set me up with a “new practice” in the same facility but would have to wait even longer to speak with a doctor about the symptoms I was experiencing. Instead I went to a new family physician who was irate that I was not properly weaned off or spoken to about symptoms that could occur when stopping said prescription. The new doctor took the time out of his busy schedule to speak with me after hours and set me on a path to continue the prescription in a process to be properly taken off. Truly sad that a doctor who brought me up from birth wrote me off so quickly the second I stopped providing him money. If you go here, don’t expect to feel welcomed as a friend or family. You’re just another case number and nothing more.

Very happy with Md Burchell.  Takes his time and listens to you.
