The first appointment was great but then... The software they use is totally confusing. It keeps sending alerts of past exams or medication and you are not sure if you need to take it again or if it's just a system issue so you need to call the clinic every new alert received to double check and this is annoying! The staff is confusing too. The nurse called me asking if I got the antibiotics which was not prescripted to me. Also, I had an urinary infection in my second month of pregnancy and the doctor put me on an extreme diet with no carbs at all until giving birth. Last, the waiting time for your appointment can take up to an hour and unfortunately it didn't work for me

We love Dr Burt. He has delivered 3 of my babies. I had an emergency C-Section with my first with a different doctor and he was very willing to let me try a Vback, but after weighing all the options we decided on another c-section. I trust Dr Burt completely. If he says there is a risk, then there is a risk. We drive 45min just to have him as our OBG.

I am 20 weeks pregnant with Twins! I know being pregnant, there are always risks, and being pregnant with multiple, there are even more risks a woman can face during her pregnancy. However, at my 1st appointment (8wks along) Dr. Burt told me that most of these "risks" weren't just possibilities for me, but risks that I would actually face. He put me on a VERY extreme diet plan. Even after i explained my desire to have ANOTHER natural vag delivery (my first child was vag delivery) he still wanted to go ahead a schedule me for a C-Section for Nov. 11th (a whole month before my actual due date). I dodnt feel right about him anymore. I immediately called 5 other doctors, including the doctor I had transferred from and knew me, and the doctor who delivered my son 2 years ago and asked their advise. They ALL were concerned about this. Firstly, there is NO reason to schedule a healthy woman for a C-Section, period! Unless of course that's the route she requests. But especially to schedule a C-Section when the woman is only 8wks along. I was at 135lbs. Before pregnancy, I am a very healthy, been called a health nut or workout freak a time or two lol. I wanted a natural birth and when I disagreed and again requested the natral birth Plan he argued right back and explained that a natural twin birth is "RARE" and rarely ever happens, which is false. The diet he had me on, the other doctors could not make sense of, the red meat I understand for protein, but everything else didn't make any sense to me or the other doctors I spoke to. Almost as if he wanted me to get admitted into the hospital and then make money of the cesarean surgery on top of that. As if things couldn't had gone worse, I met up with one of the ladies who use to be one of his nurses. She informed me that he wanted to have the surgery that early so that I could be delivered and delt with before his Thanksgiving weekend began. Ladies be careful with this doctor, if things don't feel right or if all the risks come off scary, and you're planned for a surgery you don't want, don't hesitate! ! Ask around!! Get another opinion! !! I don't trust him, I'm NOW transferred to a different doctor who has be on a regular healthy diet for both me and my twin boys, and he's more excited to deliver me naturally as I am. If you don't trust or feel comfortable with your doctor, there's probably a reason for it!

Best OB/GYN ever! I wish I had never moved away from Tx. .....just because of him! After having issues with getting a hysterectomy scheduled with my current (at the time) OB/GYN a friend referred Dr. Burt to me. I am to this day amazed at how down to earth Dr. Burt was. He took the time to review my chart/results from other dr, talk with me about what I was wanting to do, going over the steps he would have to take, etc. After getting the ball rolling after getting labs back he got me referrals I needed to get clearances for surgery for asap. I had everything done in months rather than over a year the other dr was going to take. I recommend Dr Burt for any woman to see. I had an amazing experience with him and his staff...and I miss this office. May God continue to bless you and your staff (families included) Dr. Burt!!
