This is such a great library!! I love taking the kids and they're always asking to go back. The staff is amazing! They go above and beyond for people and really seem to love what they do!! Our community is so much better because of this place!

I love this center of reading. It is  a perfect place to read. As far as library go this is an extremely on-the-nose establishment. It is perfect for playing hide-and-seek in the shelving one a week with my bros.

I love our library! We frequently have field trips here for both of my preschools, and the staff is always so friendly and accommodating. There’s a lot for children to do, it’s great!

I used to go to the library a lot until recently...
A few months ago I checked out a book for a friend cuz she didn't have a card. The book got damaged ,so now I am STUCK PAYING 20.00 FOR THE BOOK.
I LIVE ON A FIXED INCOME ,AM RETIRED
DON'T HAVE THE 20.00 NOW..DONT KNOW WHEN I WILL HAVE IT.
THE LIBRARY RECEPTIONIST TELLS ME I CAN NOT CHECK OUT ANY BOOKS UNTIL THE 20.00 IS PAID.......I THINK THAT IS RUDE..
IN THE PAST I HAVE DONATED A LOT OF BOOKS TO THIS LIBRARY..THIS IS HOW I GET THANKED..............

Rapid city li brary is a great place...its also very calming..i go to the library frequently.Everyone who works at the library are very nice and very helpful.. thanks RAPID CITY FOR A GREAT LIBRARY.
