I recently moved to NYC and searched the web for a local accounting firm.  After reading up on several firms, it was clear Ratafia and Company was the right choice, and I haven't been disappointed!  The breadth of services they offer is matched by superb customer service.  I especially appreciate the high level of communication as they've answered every question and taken the time to explain complex technical points in language I can understand.  I have 100% confidence that my taxes are being done right and, for the first time, I have a resource I can turn to anytime for questions.

I've worked with Ratafia & Company on a number of different occasions over the last couple of years and have had a fabulous experience on each one. I first contacted Allan Ratafia to help me through a fairly complex stock option issue. Allan was extremely responsive, helped me understand all the implications and presented me with several options. The most important thing to me was how thorough he was on every point. 

I now work with Debbie Katz for a new business and she's been terrific. Also very responsive and thorough. Extremely helpful and supportive even on the most seemingly mundane questions. 

I highly recommend the team at Ratafia & Company for the following reasons:

1. Extremely responsive and thorough. 
2. Presents you with clear explanations and recommendations. 
3. Great people.

I have known Allan Ratafia since 1998.   The story is too long to tell, but I will tell you that you will not find a better person than Allan.  Allan has taken his qualities as a person and installed them into his staff at Ratafia & Company.  Whether handling my personal or my business taxes - Allan and his staff make me feel like I am the only one that matters to them.  They take the time to understand your business, what your needs are, and help you find a solution.  Where today most businesses are very cut and dry, not with Allan and his people.  I could not recommend them more!  Brian
