UNBELIEVABLY RUDE!!! I needed to have a lawn mower fixed and went to Ray's. Went back and forth a little bit because I was doing this as a favor for a neighbor. When my wife called them to drop it off Ray starts complaining about "how this is such a little job ($100+) and how he's wasting his time with this...". Of all things he starts yelling at my wife!!! Will NEVER do business with him again.

Ray (and his wife who works the counter) are both personable and knowledgeable. Ray does a great job on both mowers and snow blowers. Prices are reasonable, work is done well. Highly recommend. I joy to deal with them.

I would like to comment about the experience I had with Ray’s Bike and Mower. A couple of weeks ago when we got hit with the double snow storm during that weekend, my snowblower broke right in the middle of clearing my driveway. I pulled the rope out of the coil assembly. I called a couple of “Big Box” Hardware stores, but they were not very accommodating and said it would take at least two weeks before they would even look at it. Searching the web, I found Ray’s Bike and Mower in Mundelein, Illinois. I left a message on his voicemail and had a return call from Ray later that night, after his store had already closed. After some discussion as to the problem, Ray told me it was not necessary to bring the entire machine to his business. He instructed me how to remove the part and he would repair it that night while I wait. I was able to remove the part and met Ray who by the way, waited for me after his shop already closed for the day. He had it repaired in about 15 minutes and I was on my way. My snowblower was back to work the next day. The repair price was very reasonable. I can’t say enough about what Ray did for me. Even though I just met this gentleman, he treated me like we were friends for years. You don’t see many businesses that give this much customer satisfaction like Ray did. I hope this comment reaches someone who would consider Ray’s Bike and Mower for business and/or repair needs. You will not be disappointed. Thanks again Ray. It was my pleasure meeting you!!
