Someone who was speeding hit me in an intersection. The cop immediately asked if i was under the influence even though i was the one hit. He didnt listen to my side of what happened only the one if the man who hit me. He got to get on a bus and go home meanwhile my insure has skyrocketed and my car is totaled. They would not review what happened and blamed the whole accident on me.

These cops are pompous racist ignorant human beings without an ounce of decency. i don't want to generalize and say they ALL are because not everyone is, but the majority is. They do not serve and protect but harass, commit criminal acts and break the law. They plant evidence, they do illegal searches, they quote incorrect law to people and they don't care about their jobs. This is the prime example of why PA should bring in someone else like they did for Camden NJ. When cops stop doing their jobs and just expect paychecks and raises for trash work, its time to give it up. The corruption in The Reading PA Police Department is a mile long. And when they are on leave for comitting a criminal act, they are moved to another precinct in a nearby city. This Department is a joke and they know they're a joke. So try not to do anything like breathe or blink because they do not respect human rights. One of you should file a lawsuit against one of these idiots already to take the smug look off their faces.

I mean what do you expect from a poverty level city? Of course the cops are corrupt as hell. Every single one. These cops sincerely don't care about residents AT ALL. I mean...at this point, just let lawlessness happen because they suck at what they do. The government is welcome to step in at any time.

I was being harassed on August 20,2017 @racc yocum library by a psychotic threatening me with bodily harm.  When I called for police they took 20 minutes to get there, and they let the psycho ride away on a bicycle.  Offecer Melendez and Ramos refused to do anything about it.  Because the assailant was hispanic, as they are, and I am not.  Rascism by Reading PD.  Letting criminals run the streets threatening law-abiding citizens.  I am a student at  racc, an honorably-discharged veteran with a service-connected disability of post-traumatic stress disorder.  Thanks Wally.
