About

A small town bistro serving up fresh, quality food in the heart of Ohio's Amish Country. Simply put, Rebecca's Bistro is "A Gathering of Friends!"

Story

Since opening in October 2002, Rebecca and her staff have been artfully creating elegant meals and providing a warm and positive dining environment for each customer.

Long time residents, Rebecca Miller and her husband Jim are the owners of the restaurant, which is located in Holmes County—Ohio's Amish Country. The restaurant is located in the village of Walnut Creek, in a restored log cabin, built in the early to mid 1800's.

Rebecca has always loved entertaining with food and is passionate about having every meal be an experience to be remembered.

Rebecca's serves breakfast from 8:00-10:30 and lunch from 10:30-3:00. The lunch menu includes salads, hearty sandwiches, soups, savory quiches, and delightful desserts. The lunch menu is limited in offerings, but changes weekly to provide customers with a variety of dining options. Rebecca insists on quality ingredients and uses locally grown, seasonal, fresh fruits and vegetables.

The breakfast menu includes omelets, stuffed French toast, and the local favorite—cream eggs over toast. If a specialty drink is what you are looking for, Rebecca's Bistro has a variety of espresso drinks, tea, and fruit smoothies.

Please join Rebecca and her friendly staff for your next dining experience.

Fantastic food but be prepared for a wait. It is very popular but small. The atmosphere inside is great and the food is even better. The tomato basil soup is the hands down best. Their desserts are pretty fantastic as well. Highly recommended if you are near by.

1/2 Chicken Salad Pasta was the lunch special today. Served with a half cup ( my choice) of Lemon chicken rice soup. Both were excellent. Bowtie pasta served with chunks of grilled chicken over a bed of lettuce. Sweet herb dressing (made in house) really complimented the salad. Soup had great flavor with just the right amount of Lemon. It did not overpower the flavor of the chicken. Served Hot (Not tepid like a lot of restaurant soup), just the way I like it. Excellent. Again! Service (Wilma) was superb as well! Thanks!!!

We ate lunch there last week. It was absolutely wonderful! I had the grilled chicken salad with fresh peaches, blueberries, pecans, bacon, and feta cheese, topped with their own poppy seed dressing. A slice of scrumptious blueberry bread accompanied the salad. Half would have been plenty, but I managed to eat it all! Hubby had a Hardy grilled ham and cheese sandwich, along with a bowl of tasty tomato basil soup. We bought a jar of the soup to take home. I highly recommend Rebecca's Bistro and will be sure to return any time we are in the area.

We just tried Rebecca's for lunch yesterday. Delicious! Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Food was delicious, especially the turkey berry sandwich and corn bread salad. Get there early if it's peak season we waited 30 minutes for a table.

I took my niece for a special day of fun. She ordered the burger, cheesy potatoes, mango smoothie, and a cinnamon roll cookie. I ordered the turkey dill wrap, side salad, and raspberry chai tea. The food was really good. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The cashier was great as well. I would definitely come back.
