The location is perfect. Everything Rockey Mount has to offer is within a 10 minute drive. The rooms are hit or miss. They've been remodeling and it was clearly long overdue. If you get a room that hasn't been remodeled yet it is in terrible condition. The remodeled rooms are satisfactory. The service is also hit or miss. My roommate got into an argument with the female manager over getting a towel. Then again, you can't beat the price. Best rates in town. You just have to decide if it's worth dealing with the cheap experience.

Do not go by the outside look of the place. Do check out the rooms. You will be very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the rooms. Classy, clean, comfortable interior with all amenities. The room is easily comparable to any of the big chain hotels where you would pay five times more. It's the best place to retire and get a good night's rest within a very reasonable budget.

of us stayed in the triple room for a nights rest during a long drive to Florida. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the check in was smooth. The people who own the hotel are trying to renovate and make improvements, its a nice place to sleep for the night while on the road. There was a breakfast that looked good but we did not stay long enough to eat, the owners were friendly as was the night check in person. Would stay again!

DONT LET THE OUTSIDE appearance fool you the rooms HERE HAVE BEEN REMODELED AND THEY ARE VERY NICE. OLDER COUPLE AT THE FRONT DESK VERY NICE AND HELPFUL.  Good place to stay off the highway enough so you don't get the noise from the road so its quite and cozy.

Recently did a DIRECTV installation at this property and the owners Shiv and Sarla are hands down the nicest people we have worked with.
