Story

Wisconsin's Oldest Restaurant established in 1848. Currently owned for the past 20 years by Martha and Norm Eckstaedt. Beautiful Bistro/Bar area serving over 30 wines by the glass, beers and spirits as well as delectable small plates and our full dinner menu.

Great dinner. Terrific service. Food was delicious. Onion soup was great. Beef Wellington and Salmon were both delicious. First time visiting this restaurant and we will be back.  Interesting history.  Has a very cozy  and comfortable ambiance.

The owner, venue and staff are all 5 star - We held a wedding reception here for our daughter last weekend. You have to check into this place for receptions/parties! Top Quality.

I have never had a bad experience here. Friendly staff and great food. Also have a great space to have a wedding at. My friend's was a blast there!

This is a neat place, the oldest restaurant in WI. The staff was excellent, and the food was very good. It was a bit loud in the bar area, but that was to be expected with a band playing. The souffle was a bit disappointing, but everything else was excellent.
