Story

Hi, my name is Catherine and I love wines.

Like many people, I have spent a good part of my career climbing corporate ladder, up and down, down and up and it never stops. Sometimes you fall and then you get up and try again. Like many things in life, since you have spent a lot of time on it, you become an expert and you do it all over again.

Until one day, one hot summer day, I realized that my interest was actually something else other than climbing ladders. So I started searching while drinking my favorite red wine.

About 3 and a half years ago I discovered a little wine store located in Amityville, I asked myself: what does it take to run a wine store like this? Driven by the curiosity and a sense of naivetés, I decided to take over the store and dived in, bold move right? Here I am 3 ½ years have passed by, In defiance of the statistics, I am still here!
In parallel with the historical moment, along with whole bunch of big investment banks around the world, apparently I have passed the stress test. So, if you ask me what I feel now, I have to say that I am having a lot of fun. I have went from Board Rooms to Burgundies.

Wine is grape juice with a twist. It makes you high but it won’t get you drunk. It cools down your brain but it warms up your heart. It enhances your spirit, it lightens you daily burden.

Wine is your sunshine, wine is your sunset. It tastes like Mediterranean Sea and it smells like flowers in the mid-summer night. It is you friend, your boy friend, your girl friend, your’ long lost friends, it opens your heart and embraces it…….
