One of my favorite escape rooms! If you get there early, there are some puzzles in the waiting room that you can fiddle with. I found the theme/story intriguing and the immersion was on point with a slightly creepy feel. It really felt like we were "outside" by a bayou. The puzzles were unique and fun (some I've never seen in other rooms). Because of the amount of puzzles, I would recommend at least 4-5 people.

Really liked this escape room. It was fun and pretty challenging but not too difficult. Like most escape rooms the puzzles are much easier than you think. The host was great and helpful. Had a couple lackluster experiences with escape rooms before this but this one brought me back to escape rooms. Puzzlemaster did a great job with this one

A terrific escape room - large in size, with an awesome variety of puzzles and a subtle, humorous game master who knows what he is doing. This room was full of surprises and fun! I would highly recommend this room for large groups who enjoy working together to solve the mystery that happened oh those many nights ago. Good storytelling too! Plenty of free parking in their lot. If you solve the bonus puzzle for their candy jar in their lobby, you can get a piece of candy too.

This was my first escape room ever. We had the best time! The magician was a great host and the puzzles were hard but fun. I loved how intricate and big the room was too. If you like puzzles, this is for you! 10/10 would do again... if I didn't solve it. We got out with 2 min to spare! Thank you for making this room. We loved it!

With a gigantic space as big as any that you'll see in an escape room , Red Lantern Escape Rooms in Brea have a ton to offer for their potential escapers. They have a friendly staff, nice lobby, and heaps of puzzles! Out of the many escape rooms we've played, Midnight on the Bayou was one of our favorite themes. 
They thought of every detail to make an immersive experience in their huge space. Would highly recommend for large groups and smaller teams up for an extra challenge.
