I do NOT recommend this hotel at all! First of all the pictures on the website are VERY misleading. When u drive up it looks like a two-story apartment bldg. There is NO elevator so u have to carry your own bags up or down the stairs and trust me...they don't offer to help. The rooms have a moldy smell. It is without a doubt..the worst experience I have ever had! I did not stay. I canceled and demanded my money back. It was filthy and stains on bedding. Maria at the front desk was very unfriendly, no Custer service skills! This is definitely NOT worth the $200 per night. We went right down road to Courtyard for $160...very clean and good customer service.

This used to be Super 8... it is misleading because you believe that it is the standard of a red lion when in actuality it's still the standard of Super 8 with a new name. The room had a very odd smell it was extremely small. And furthermore the ice machine is to stories down. If I was only paying $100 maybe I wouldn't complain but I paid almost $200 for this room and its equivalent to the Super 8 definitely will not be staying here again at least for that price. One positive comment though the beds are comfortable but the pillows are really flimsy and at least three to equal one pillow.

Older hotel. Rooms could use updating. However, the great staff makes up for what was lacking in the rooms. Excellent breakfast! Pool was great. The Lifeguard staff was EXCELLENT! Pool was busy both nights we were there and the Lifeguard on both 6/16 and 6/17 did an awesome job with all the guests using the pool! Great job guys!!!

Waterslide is a great perk! Hot tub was overly chlorinated, but what can you expect - at least it's chlorinated. Breakfast was great. You can expect one meat and eggs on any given day. Also had biscuits, bagels, donuts, bread, sausage gravy, yogurt, three types of cereal, milk, hot tea, a coffee station, and three types of juice. Great value for the area and time of year. Close proximity to Wild Waves, though the walk would be able 15-30 minutes and could be quite dangerous for larger families with small kids - Red Lion is very close to the I-5 N/S and WA-18 E/W interchange. I would have stayed here all five days during my family's transition if they had availability.

Decent room, but was kind of small and cramped compared to other hotels I've been in at a similar price point. Room was very clean and modern, and everything worked fine. Check-in was a bit off-putting since the guy working never once actually looked at me during the whole process. I'm no diva, and usually prefer to go unnoticed in most situations, but was a bit awkward in this particular instance. One thing I gotta give kudos for is the fact that they do not have tiny little soap/shampoo bottles, but a fixed dispenser instead. Saves on tons and tons of waste and is more convenient to use while in the shower rather than fiddling with the micro sized lids. I once worked with a guy who had tiny hands, so he would not experience the true benefit of this dispenser system, but that aside, it's a solid system. Also, this hotel is located directly next to a Walmart. Determining whether that is a benefit or not is up to you to decide.
