We came here for a family dinner. They have lots of seatings but get busy pretty quickly. I recommend coming in before 4pm if you’re not keen on waiting in line. The service was average. It took some time for the food to arrive, especially the biscuits. However, it’s understandable since they were busy. The lobsters pair great with the garlic butter. The shrimps were perfectly cooked. They were juicy. The scallops were grilled nicely as well. The NY steak was okay. I recommend dipping the biscuits in the garlic butter while they’re fresh. The portions were big. Overall a great place for family & friends get-together.
Everything was delicious! It was my first time eating lobster and it was so worth it. Im an avid shrimp and crab eater and lobster is gonna be an addition to my favorite seafood. The place is nice and has free parking. The staff were also nice and attentive. We didn’t have to wait very long to be seated. I love the biscuits, I could eat it everyday. It soooo good, perfectly salted and very scrumptious. The drinks were very good too! The cocktails were very creative. The baked potato was also really good, will order it again. I got Lobster Lover’s Duo and got to try two kinds of lobsters. Both are really delicious but you can taste the difference. The Caribbean rock tail was more tender and juicier. It also has a softer texture. We also got the Surf & Turf, the steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned really well. We were full and satisfied when we left the restaurant, will dine here again!
10/10 for the lobster as it was really well done and tastes amazing. Unlimited shrimps are a good deal for the price and most of the types were good. The only problem was the time they take to serve the next order for unlimited shrimps, which was frustrating. Unfortunately my sister had ordered that as her main course and she was waiting most of the time and was done with it as the breaks were long. Would b great if they allowed to order next shrimps with the first order so the customers don’t have to wait so long. Biscuits were amazing and just loved the ceasars salad.
It was Mother's day, Our family has been going to Red lobster for 30 years or more! We love Red lobster!! We heard that they might be going out for business so we really wanted to go possibly for the last time so thought mother's day experience would be perfect. We got our favorites the admirals feast! Also got the surf and turf with the amazing lobster tail, some calamari appys and of course we wanted more of the delicious cheese buns omg. Our server Tammy was delighteful, we knew it was a busy mother's day and it seemed like they may have been short on staff. It was very busy, but Tammy was always there for us when we asked for things and she has a great sense of humour. We got 2 of the new items on the menu as well, We hope that they keep this red lobster location and we get to go here and have our family dinners on special occasions here. It would be sad to see it go! Red Lobster is one of our favorite American seafood places.
Update: Went back to Red Lobster and this time the service was amazing and attentive. I now have upgraded the review to 5 star as a result. Thank you! Attention Queensway location: I took birthday girl for endless shrimp yesterday and the shrimp and biscuits were delicious except for the uncle Ben type of rice and the fries which were not fresh because some of it was chewy. I asked the waiter if I could switch to coleslaw and he said we can't because we only get one choice. I said the rice didn't taste good he said sorry which was a bit disappointing which is why the food rating dropped. For a simple fix that cost the restaurant pennies to fix just doesn't make sense. Also refilling my glass of water was a big challeng as my last glass of water was never filled up. Above my head you can clearly see several cobwebs which is pretty disgusting for a nice restaurant. The Dufferin location may appear older but the service is top notch and it is much cleaner. I hope someone from management see this post and plan on making some improvements. Hope my remarks are not too harsh but I am your neighborhood foodie who is always looking for good food with good service.
My husband and I used to love going here for dinner on weekends. But unfortunately we most likely will not go back. The menu has changed significantly and not for the better. Prices are quite high and the options arr very limited between fried or fried.Food: 4/5
Went here for my bestfriends 27th birthday! Our server Heather was fantastic!! She made the experience from start to finish an amazing one for the both of us. Also, we both ordered the endless shrimp and the food was made fresh and hot to order! Will definitely return to this specific location :Food: 5/5
Cozy Atmosphere, Mixed Seafood Experiences at Red Lobster Sherway Gardens. My friends and I recently dined at Red Lobster at Sherway Gardens, and I wanted to share our collective experience. We began our meal with an appetizer of Sweet Thai Chili Shrimp, which set a promising start with its delightful flavors. For our main courses, my friends opted to share the large portion of Salmon New Orleans. While they appreciated the generous size, they found the salmon itself to be somewhat bland and lacking in flavor. Additionally, the salmon was slightly overcooked, detracting from the overall enjoyment. However, the accompanying shrimp on top were seasoned nicely and cooked to perfection, providing a flavorful contrast. I chose the Unlimited Shrimp Platter for my meal. The Grilled Shrimp Skewers were a highlight for me, cooked just right and full of flavor. The Jumbo Coconut Shrimp, on the other hand, introduced a new taste that I found to be slightly off-putting, and the Sweet Chili Shrimp, while enjoyable the second time around, could not completely make up for the coconut shrimp's peculiar taste. The service at Red Lobster was generally good, though I experienced a bit of a wait for my shrimp refill. Despite this, the staff were warm and hospitable, contributing to the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. In summary, while there were hits and misses in our seafood selections, the friendly service and pleasant environment made our visit to Red Lobster at Sherway Gardens a comfortable dining experience.
Brutal!! In this day and age of people struggling to make ends meet this portion is shameful. Dropped by for some fish and chips, asked the girl at the front what kind of fish for the fish and chips and she quickly responded "I think it's trout.". Forgivable for a restaurant with few fish options but come on, this is the famous Red Lobster. After going through another employee who also had no clue but was nice at least a third girl chimed in and said "it's haddock" which made sense. The fish is just one filet cut in half and I received exactly 20 French fries, yes, 20!! When's the last time you looked at your fries and thought that's totally countable. I'm just so tired of big companies not investing in training their employees about the product they are selling and serving potential danger for people with allergies being served or sold the wrong product, serving fair value for your hard earned money small portions and cold food see photos. Do better Red Lobster I really expected more from here.
My review is based on my most recent visit, as I’ve been to the location a hand full Of times. The service is always a hit or a miss, however the staff are always friendly. What you can count on though is the good food. Any issues that we had were instantly rectified which is great. Sadly we had to ask for more bread, we had to ask for more refills- also staff rarely came to check on us which meant we had to wait a while before we could ask for anything. On a good service day, the waiter is usually a few steps ahead of us bringing more bread before the last one is finished, and will ask if we need a refill when our glasses are 1/4 finished. We had dinner @ 6pm … by the end of our meal, I went to the bathroom to wash up and change my toddler. - of the 4-5 stalls that are available, all of them were unusable. 4 ladies waited for 1 stall that’s how bad the bathrooms were. This is really bad considering you’re at peak dinner time, it’s not even an end of day excuse. Dietary restrictions: We eat halal - most of their sauces have wine inside - so a garlic butter sauce alternative was recommended. Parking: Parking lot attached to the restaurant. Ample spots
