This is truly an amazing place. This museum has an incredible amount of artifacts from the surrounding area which date back centuries. The tour guides are very knowledgeable about most, if not all, of the artifacts. It's a great way to learn about the indigenous people of the American southwest and how they survived in such a beautiful but harsh area. This makes a great stop on the way to the Grand Canyon or any of the Southern Utah national parks.

Absolutely a must see! This is a fantastic little museum loaded with rare and incredible artifacts from the Anasazi, Fremont, and other cultures. Super friendly staff. Not well advertised so don't miss!! Donations accepted. I have been to numerous native culture museums and this is one of my very favorites!! 5 Stars all the way.

What an amazing place! Lifetimes of gathered artifacts all about ancient Native American people. You'll get an incredible tour by the man who found most the artifacts himself. You would pay a lot of money to get this kind of tour anywhere else, and it's free! Just a quick jaunt down the road from Kanab and well worth the stop.

First visit was excellent. The volunteer, Maryland, gave us a great tour and explained so many of the artifacts and the stories behind them. This is a must see if you're passing by, can easily spend 30 to 60 minutes walking the massive collection.

If you leave this area without visiting this museum you will have missed one of the best introductions to the cultures of it's ancient inhabitants. I am amazed that this museum isn't listed by Fredonia on it's web site as a must see attraction. You will be treated to a professional tour of outstanding displays of weapons, tools, clothing, pottery, arrow heads, blankets and historical artifacts. Our Guide was Dixon Spendlove the curator. His knowledge is astounding. Don't miss this!
