I've been a long term patron of Red Robin, but after the way I was just treated will never give them my business again. We went into the Issaquah location with 2 friends down from Canada. We sat in the bar and when the waitress asked for ID, she took one of the Canadian IDs and disappeared. When she finally returned, she asked for a passport and stated that the ID is not a valid form of ID. When we asked to speak to a manager, she was rude and asked us to vacate the bar while she attempted to get the manager to come talk to us. When he finally came out and I questioned why he was refusing service and would not accept the ID, when on the Washington state liquor control board website it states that any Canadian ID is valid. This is after the waitress said that we had to vacate the bar because it's an invalid ID and they would get a fine. When the manager, Mike Mills, finally came out he was rude, and said it was a Red Robin policy but he wouldn't show us the policy. Frankly, after the way we were treated, over a completely legal ID I will never do business there again.

Can be busy at times, especially weekends. But it has quick service and good Red Robin food. Service is usually very attentive, with the exception of large parties. If you have 6 or more, then it is hit and miss. My visit was quick, and good.

We waited half an hour for our food and when it arrived the fries were cold and portions were small, burgers were only slightly warm. Refills for fries took a long time and service generally was slow. I am not sure if they were understaffed but it did impact the experience overall. Our server was attentive. The burgers were delicious but the wait time was just too long..

I wish I could give it no stars because I have been here for an hour now and I ordered more fries and a second root beer float and got them about 17 minutes later with just fries and no root beer float. Mind the waitress is walking around us looking at us, bringing other people extra fries/ drinks when i asked 20-25 minutes before them. then her last time coming over to me with my root beer float at 10:05, when I arrived at 9:00pm. Plus I was with 2 other people we all asked for extra fries and the waitress only brought us one tray of fries. The waitress had Brown wavy hair and was a very skinny Caucasian.

The place has lost its luster. I used to enjoy going here, but the new tavern bar hamburgers are tony and def not tasty - the one with the mac and cheese needs to go. You have to press to get service. It's ok at times.
