Ok first off, yes this is a red roof inn. So don't expect much, the night lady at the front desk is very rude! This hotel is for men that work out of town, definitely not a place for the family. Yes the rooms are completely remodeled, bed is good. So I guess for 50 bucks, and if you'd staying a night it works for the money.

THEY HAVE BED BUGS!!!!!!!!! That wasn't even the worse part. The Manager, IRENE, is a BI**H!!!She is rude and very unprofessional. Def not fit to manage anyone, especially not a hotel where you have to deal with people!. Wanted to knock her head smooth off!!! I'll see her again tho, outside of work!!! DO NOT STAY THERE!!! PERIOD.

We booked this room for a quick one night stop while my husband and his father were attending his son's birthday. They waited in line behind other travelers. The employee (or whoever was at the desk) informed them that they had an employee quit. They appeared to be counting a drawer. They said no one was going to be able to check them in, sorry. The travelers in front of my husband had their reservations cancelled. My husband also had his reservation cancelled. Extremely poor customer service all the way around even by cheap hotel standards. They just lost a couple hundred dollars because whoever was at the desk didn't feel like checking in travelers.

We chose this place our of necessity because everything else was booked for the solar eclipse. It's okay for a few nights stay. There are lots of TV channels and the beds are comfortable. The hotel front desk person was nice. Unfortunately, the room smelled of Indian curry when we came in. It only got worse when we turned on the air conditioning. The hotel management is also very stingy with toiletries and other supplies. They only gave two small hard soaps and a packet of shampoo which lasted only one shower. They didn't replace towels on the floor, only picked them up and hung them on the rack. The bed cover had cigarette burns and a few small stains.

I stayed here when I came to South Carolina to see the eclipse. I chose to stay here because it was reasonably priced for that day when all the hotels were charging a lot. The staff were professional and friendly. My rating is so low because the room specifically the bathroom was dirty. The sheets were clean but I wore flip flops in the shower. The room also smelled strongly of cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking room. There is also a lot noise a night from the interstate traffic which our room faced.
