We were up in the area for our sons wedding and he suggested Red Rooster.  We went there twice for breakfast.   It's probably the best breakfast and service we've ever had.   We also bought 2 homemade cream pies for his birthday.  They were amazing.   Thanks Red Rooster.

The lasagna was so good, we went back for dinner the next nigh and had the perch special.  That was so good we went back the next morning for breakfast.  Well worth the drive from Oscoda.  The food and the service was great.  Can't wait to get back up north again.

Yesterday was the first time eating here it was great. Today my husband called in a take out. While one was trying to take our order there was someone in the background telling them to have us call back because they got busy. 1. I wouldn't have called back. I would have went else where.. they tell us it'll be 30 mins. I get there(it was 30 mins) and they tell me it will be another 10 min.. so had to wait for 40 mins... before leaving they asked id i needed jelly or ketchup..said no..then get my food get back to where I am staying.. My husband asked for fries with his food got potatoes.. he also got pancakes and guess what Didn't come with it that should have..syrup..

Not a very happy customer.

Really clean, lots of things to do.  Fire pits, grills,. Swings , paddle bikes, cable tv,.good size Cottages, lounge chairs,kayaks, etc.  Recommend.  Will come back!!

When you come to this place you order chicken! It looks like a diner but they have craft beer! Great service, friendly people.
