The owner is super personable, and will gladly talk to you about all things comic/sci-fi/nerd related. It's an awesome location, not too far from home, as well as close enough to a major tourist location. The store carries a lot of hot selling comic books and seldom runs out, making for an incredible selection of recently printed comics that one may have missed during it's run. Definitely a must stop by if you're in the area!

This is such an amazing and fun and friendly comic book shop filled with a stellar selection of books, fun gaming nights, and pull lists. This is one of the coolest things to ever come to the Port Jeff area!!!

This shop is a gem. A great selection of trade paperbacks, new comics, and back issues. My son loves the Funko Pop figures. Very family friendly as well. Red Shirt often hosts events ranging from costume contests to Magic game nights. A great addition to Main St. and the Pt. Jeff community. The owner is amiable and very knowledgeable. It's not often I can find someone who can discuss the awesomeness of Moon Knight or Claremont's Excalibur. His recommendations are on point. There is no pretension or exclusivity one sometimes encounters at speciality shops. Prices are also very reasonable. They offer a  membership which has many benefits.

Whether you're a diehard who gets new releases every week or just want to nab a collection now and then, the staff at Red Shirt Comics will help you find what you're looking for. The store is clean and organized with a full lineup of new titles, a great back issue and graphic novel collection, plus lots of unique toys and collectibles you're not going to find anywhere else in town. I'm so happy comics are back in a big way Down Port.
