I drive by Red Ring restaurant at least 6 times a day and every time I drive by the farm animals have no food and look absolutely miserable! When they do give them hay it is very little for so many animals I even seen the poor goats sticking their heads through the fence to eat grass off the neighbors lawn! They have a huge pile of hay off to the side so they have it but still don't feed them enough! And I'm sure all those great meals you guys are eating are those farm animals that you are enjoying  outside are now on your dinner plate! RED WING FEED YOU'RE ANIMALS OR YOU WILL BE REPORTED!!!!

I read in a local magazine that this was a top restaurant in Central Florida, so we gave it a try.  A simple setting, it looks like a home turned restaurant, and we found the staff to be helpful and nice.  I ordered the “hunters platter”, that included venison sausage, boar chops, and fried quail, and it was good.  The menu said market price which turned out to be around $30.  Pretty good place

We came here after a few of my wife's coworkers mentioned eating here.

It was a little early and the rain was coming down and a severe thunderstorm warning was in effect, so we were the only ones in the restaurant for a while. The server was exceedingly attentive, even with the couple of requests we had. As we were finishing up, more people started to show up.

The decor is pretty unique. Gaston would approve of all of the antlers.

The fried pickles were awesome and buffalo chicken mac n cheese was great. The meat n potato soup was a bit heavy and bland, though. My wife had the catfish and enjoyed it.

We finished off with the apple cobbler. That was delicious, too.

Since the rain died down, we went by the animals adjacent to the parking lot. They are all sweet and love the attention.

This place is a hidden treasure! I had the elk chops and they were delicious. They have quite a varied menu. I think a gourmet cook is behind this wonderful food! It was a drive for us but definitely well worth it. We will be back for sure.

A/C not working very well. Ceiling fan is broke in fireplace room. Decent food, staff is awesome.
