I had a surprisingly good experience at this DMV. I made an appointment 1 month before (this is essential! why waste 2 hours in a line outside?) and arrived 10 min. before the appointment (to renew my license). All in all, the whole process (forms, picture, test) took 45 minutes. No wait time was longer than 5-7 minutes and everything went smoothly. The staff was friendly and appreciative when I said "thank you" and made small talk.

I don’t think I know a single dmv that does not make your life a living you know what. They just have the worst service possible and everything takes forever but I have grown accustomed to it. Surprising enough this location was a little better than other I have dealt with in the past but not at all great.

I don't understand how we pay the DMV copious amounts of money yet they provide small locations, mimimal staffing, and trying to accomplish one mimimal task that you can't do anywhere else makes you sacrifice your whole day. That day is most likely your only day off work and you don't get to enjoy it. Step it up DMV. Where is all the money we give you?

I've always had a terrible experience myself but they really need to work on treating people better, Especially when they are at fault when they screw up sometimes, instead they responded to you rudely even though it's there mistake. I understand there are some people you can't reason with but no need to attack others with a bad attitude just because someone else gave you a hard time. And they wonder why people get angry. I've visited DMVs in different cities and Redlands is still by far the worst. They still need to work on a faster system as well.

The staff was not the reason behind this low of a review. I showed up early, waited in line an hour, was told to wait outside for my number to be called (there were no seats and they didn’t want people standing inside for some reason) and waited an additional 3 hours for my number to be called. Like I said, the staff was relatively friendly, but the wait and parking was unlike I have ever experienced.
