Pros: The guy did show up on time, and he was a good conversationalist. Cons: He showed up in what looked to be his slightly messy “family” vehicle, which was a large SUV. (No signage of any kind on it anywhere, saying that it was any kind of a taxi company.) He had to shove a baby’s car seat over in order to make room just for my wife in the rear seat, while I had to sit up front with him. I asked him where the “taxi’s” meter was, and he pointed to what looked to be his cell phone lying beside him on the center console, with a cord plugged into it. I couldn’t see any kind of a visible readout on it. He then dismissed the subject altogether, and as another review here already mentioned, he stated that it was going to be $45 from Redondo Beach to LAX. (So his “meter” didn’t matter anyway.) He also kept checking his cell phone quite a bit during the ride. BTW: Riding with him to the airport at 7:30 am, the traffic wasn’t that heavy, and we made good time. When we returned, using a legitimate Yellow taxi from LAX to Redondo Beach, it was during 6 pm peak “rush hour” stop & go traffic most of the way. The fair was still less than $35. I cannot recommend using this service.

Don't use this cab!!! They will come to your house whether or not you confirm and when you cancel, they THREATEN YOUR LIFE. An audio recording of the owner is currently under investigation by the Redondo Beach Police Department because of this, and other threats made to many other riders. If you have experienced this, contact me directly and I will put you in touch with the investigator. They want to put this guy behind bars and are building a case against him. All reviews beyond 1 star are fake, and made by people that work for him and own the company.

I looked up "yellow cab" on my phone and got several listings I chose the Yellow Cab in Redondo Beach my zip. The driver was late and it was not "yellow Cab" Company, it was a private Town Car Service that charged me $45.00 from Redondo Beach to LAX. This is fraud and misadvertizement. The owner gave me excuse after excuse and made a mere $10.00 credit for when I come back. Buyer Beware
