I wonder if Gwen saw the right location/church?  The address is tricky (i.e. Torrance on one side of PCH....RB on the other.  There IS a sign.  There are meeting at all the indicated times. The parking lot is full every Sunday morning.  There IS an answer phone...and an active regularly updated website.  And it's a family friendly small welcoming congregation.   Give it a try!

I tried to attend worship, but the building looks abandoned and in disrepair; and there is no sign on the building citing that's it a Church of Christ.  I went by numerous times. A sign used to be in the front, it appears to say "Barvarian" but it's very faded out. You can call, but there is a voicemail, but no service schedule given. I didn't see no cars parked in the back or around it. And I got there a little past eleven.
