This is one of the best and most honest places I've ever found. They never try to up-sell me, the price is always reasonable, I always feel well taken care of and listened to, and the owner usually tells a joke. We might be moving from the area, but I'll still come back to go to see my mechanic. :-)

This is the most honest repair shop I have ever encountered.  I recommend everyone I know to go there.  Their prices are fair and they never try to get one over on you.  They'll always tell you the option to save you the most money.

Gas is a bit higher than at self-service places but this is full service and they check all the engine fluids and air in the tires with a smile on their faces.   Shane knows his way around auto repair too and charges fair prices.  A neighborhood treasure here in Berkeley/Regis neighborhood.
